I want to thank Edgar (E&J Autoworks for beliving in us, by giving PMS Race Cars the opportunity of trying the state of the art Aluminum Billet Rotors in our race car. The full tube chassis R-100 best time so far is 7.34 @ 184 with stock rotors with 1.07 60 ft. Now with the new setup, we got 890hp @ 38 pounds of boost, over 100hp from previous setup. After dyno we took the engine apart and everything look perfect including the Billet Rotors. We tested the car last Saturday, with a very mild tune up and some driving errors the PMS Race Cars R-100 still went a 7.98 @ 174. We keep you posted, we will be testing in April 8.

May i ask what seals you are running?

 

I'm saying the complete new set up including the aluminum rotors, resulted in a 100 hp increase. Also the thottle response its a lot quicker than before. I think we are going to see a big change when we start shifting over 11,000 rpm

Nice, good luck. 7.3 in a r100 has to be scary. I sure would like to see these rotors in a N/A application.

Maximun overhang permited by NHRA is 45 inches, measure from the center of the front wheel to the tip of the fron end of the car. In some bodies like the R-100 without the fin we have only 18 inches of overhang, thats is going to put us in disadvantage with other races runing 45 inches. Thats why we put this fin to compensate for the short front end and have the same advantage. Remember we stage the car with the front tires and trip the beams with the front end. www.pmsracecars.com
