MT 82 RX7 Picked Her up Last Wed

Well I finally picked up my new toy and am starting to assess the damage done by the last 2 owners. So far I have figured that I am going to need to rebuild that carb, get a fuel tank (found a used one in a junk yard), D/S Fender, Center Console, Rear Carpet, all the Locks, glove box, I think thats about it, Oh ya and Paint the gold is faded to the point of no shine.

I am also tryiungn to get all the title work done, last owner lost the title and never had it transfered to his name and we dont know the name of the person before him. Do you guys think that this car is worth more than $500 US? In the condition it is in.

I also had to replace the fuel tank in an 84.....turns out the replacement tank had some water in it...had rusted inside. Ended up being a lot of work to R&R and get it clean. Suggest you check it carefully it before you install it.

As far as the value it would depend on how solid the body is. The common rust spots are around the rear wheel wells and behind the mounting brackets where the rear upper arms tie into the body.
