Messed around with some friends last night. My rx7 vs their stang with a sbc in it.. Car runs a 11.0 so we thought it would be a good idea to run mine to see how I would do against him.

We used the flashlight method for the start. I had 3 guys videotaping, one camera even had night vision but I still dont think they came out to good. O well.

You can hear me let up as soon as I shift 4th as I had a few cars on him so I didnt think it was necessary to keep going. Anyway it was a good night... Friendly races are the best. Hope you guys enjoy them.

Yep the mustang had slicks. I had et streets on with stock R1 suspension. These guys showed up with 50 people I showed up with 3. They thought they were going to leave me at the line and told me i better leave with everything Ive got. They thought it would be an easy win for them so they brought a big croud to enjoy their victory. Well big surpise for them... lol.

 

nice turbor1, nothing like giving the crowd a show stopping shock. i do it all the time. up here in RI. i just tell them it is a 1.3L 80 cubic inch engine.... i dont know what it has for power want to run on the highway..... for fun or maybe a few bucks for fun... ha ha. serious cars up here are few and far between although there are some. ill give credit where it is due.

Thanks for the comments guys.. I was only on 20-21 psi.. I would have ran more but boost controller is turned all the way up so im working on why I cant get anymore right now. They were shocked as hell. It was a big party for them thinking it would be an easy win bringing their girlfriends fans etc.. the guy at the line had a horn helmet on, they were all wearing their shop shirts. I showed up with 3 people and a camera. lol.. I even let up in 4th which they didnt seem to notice. Stay tuned for when the car has 30+psi next week after sema and some more kill videos.
