But nice kill. If it was an SRT8, it would've given you a run for your money.

And you raced a Dodge Charger it seems.

Did it look anything like this? It's hard to tell an SRT8 from a normal charger aside from the rims, hood scoop, and badges. I don't think it was an SRT8 though, those cars run 13's in stock form.
Yep.... that's the one!!

Anytime I need a HEMI FIX... I head cross town to my buddy's shop... here's his shop link http://mysite.verizon.net/bizu3we9/

So, I'm pretty familiar with the unique HEMI sound. There's nothing like em. It's that rumpty rump of King Kong all pissed off and fired up that is just unmistakeable.... So.. . Yeah, that car was a HEMI.... not some HEMI wanna-be.....

To be fair, .... HEMI cars are strait line runners.... and the REX is king of the high speed road-race course. When setup right they'll turn and burn with the most exotic cars on the planet....

So, Mr. HEMI was at a disadvantage. We'd gotten to a long right hand sweeper and I'd already upshifted to 5th....

Personally... I'm not so sure of the outcome had this been a 1/4mile type contest. Last Time I looked, CUBES rule!

BTW, Mike rebuilt my trans and is a transmission wiz. He did an amazing job on mine and, It's better than new... For those who are thinking of shipping their trans for a rebuild.... you might want to check him out.

Did he take you off the start though? I am not surprised you beat an SRT8 though. It's a heavy car, with a MUCH lower redline than a 13B-REW.

Nice kill.

Check karken29s first posting.... the entire encounter was on a major highway, at highway speeds.... and totally impulsive. So, NO. He never came to a complete stop.... In one of his later postings, He was speculating on the outcome had he raced the HEMI from a dead stop...

Sorry, I don't tend to read other people's posts first. If I read that, I would've said nice kill. No harm done.
