Ryan, we need some input

 

If this is going to happen someone is going to have to take charge and get organized. We need to come up with a plan on what to build, how to build and who to drive it. Figure out what it's gonna cost and start taking donations toward that dollar amount and parts for that build. A lot of people don't like the idea of giving up money/parts that may or may not be used. Also, all the trash talk is gonna have to get isolated so there can be a thread where members working on the project can stay on topic. It would be nice if someone could figure out what exactly we are up against too. That way we can build a car in the same league. We don't want to build a 700HP car and have them build one with 300HP. That wouldn't make for a very interesting race and I doubt Pinks would even consider it.

It would be cool to see this happen but, the trash talk thread in the lounge is obviously going no where.

Thats why this is in the suggestion forum - to get the attention of the OWNER of the site. We can't have a battle of the foums without consent from the forum's owner...................or can we?

Its going to start rolling soon. I don't know who is doing what but I just started talking with Pertano from 3TC so I'll get updates on where/what is going on.

The build isn't my concern yet - the car will come once the plan is laid out. For now I'm goign to open up the communication between the forums and hopefully get some support in the meantime.

 

That's the last thing you guys need to worry about. Someone has already donated their racecar to the 3TC forum. Badass TE37

I would suggest u take a look of ls1tech.com and coreal of their pinks battle. its documented but to a point that doesn't give away their secret under the hood.

 

what kinda turbos we slapping on that 13B? dualie? single? RX6? TE37? stock twins?

sounds like a great idea.
I read a story some years ago about a guy in NASCAR, he started up a website asking for donations, any kind for his car! in return he would not put sponsors names on the car but instead, your name if you donated. If every member donated say $10 to the cause, you could build one mean as car. easily kick toyotas ***. Or how about ring one of the TV companies that do the car build shows, do a rivalry build off?

My 2 cents anyway.
