Hi all ~
I've been waiting for the day I could post this and it's finally here. I'm looking for any help to find someone in the Central Florida region that can put together a roll bar and help me out with some prep work on my 1984 Rx-7. It doesn't have to be the same person/shop either. First let me outline what I want.
I'm not looking for a cage really, unless I can get one that's not too obtrusive for a car that will be driven mainly on the streets. I want something that will basically stiffen the unibody and allow me to run a mostly stock upholstered interior - headliner, dashboard, all panels and my carpeting. I plan to ditch the factory storage bins because rust ate the paneling that the bins sat in and I figured it's too much of a pain in the *** to get replacements. (So I'll also need someone that can make some custom cut carpeting in the event that I can't do it) Besides, I plan to mount my EMS and battery in the new space and fab up some paneling big enough to mount them and cover them from prying eyes.
I would prefer to have as much of it welded to the car as possible, but I know there will be parts that have to be bolted. My car is actually pretty good as far as rust is concerned, but it will require some work.
I also want to have someone that can prep the interior for me. I should be getting my POR-15 soon, but body prep had never been my strongsuit, so I'll probably want someone with experience to do it for me or with me. Usually I try to do everything for myself, but I know my limits.
Right now the car is stripped and not running, but hopefully it should be running in the next 6 weeks or so.
I hope this wasn't too vague. I'm essentially looking for someone in the Orlando, Tampa, Ocala region, but when the car is running, I have no problems going to Miami or Jacksonville.
So have at it. Any info or links will be appreciated.

PM me, I'm in St Pete. I've been building cars and cages for about 20 years. I can send you some pics of work I've done. If you have looked into GForce Eng. stuff for the FB then you may have seen one of my cages. I did the cage for Jim's car.
