FC steering wheel in GSL-SE?

I think the FC guys might know a little more about aftermarket steering wheels than the 1st gen guys because people love to keep their FBs stock, soooo...

Can I use an aftermarket ebay steering wheel made for an FC on a GSL-SE? Why or why not? The reason I ask is because I want to sell my FC that currently uses a 320mm wheel and buy a GSL-SE. I don't like the feeling of big stock steering wheels anymore, so I want to know what my options are for new wheels. Plus it makes getting in and out of the car a hell of a lot easier.

All Mazda steering wheels interchange, from the Rotary Truck right through the RX-8. I have a 1st gen steering wheel on my REPU and I had an RX-8/Mazda6 wheel on my 1st gen. The only difference seems to be the orientation of the turn signal indicator cancel...and all you do is turn the disc on the wheel 90 degrees and it seems to work okay.

All 2nd gen wheels are bolt on,although the only nice looking one is the 88-89 3-spoke.I popped one of those on my Samurai.

Heck,even a J-spec 3rd gen Infini steering wheel is a bolt-on for a 1st gen....convenient!

Bleh, I really dont like those reverse glow gauges. Whats wrong with the factory look?

But essentially if I were to get an aftermarket steering wheel, I could use an adapter ment for an FC? or do they make one for the FB?

If what they're saying's true, then you could go on ebay and get an FC wheel and adapter hub and it would bolt in just fine to your FB. You'd probably want to have power steering, though, if you're a weak little boy like me.

PS isnt really a neccesity, unless you have a widebody with big tires,or a really small steering wheel.

An aftermarket wheel will bolt up with an FB or FC adapter(like a Grant, for example). A stock FC steering wheel bolts on directly to the FB,no adaptor needed or anything.

Yea,Im not a big fan of the gauges either.I just DO NOT like orange dials,it just bugs me.The blue gauges were put in because the seller falsely advertised them as being green OR blue(selectable).Im fine with green,I didnt want blue....which happens to be the only color they shine in.They will be coming back out someday,I just havent got around to it....they do shine pretty bright in the mean-time.
