hi, last night my car was vandalized and broken into(luckily without breaking any glass) and had my radio taken, the thing is i must have had a monkey or punk-*** in training do mine because they dont know **** about electronics. they just basically ripped the thing out by force demolishing my interior panel.





if you guys could contribute just a little bit that would help me a lot, its one of the best condition CYMs around and its terrible seeing such a beautiful rare car vandalized. if you have any extra interior pieces having to do with that center console that you're not using that you can give away that would be great.

also if anyone is in the LA county area especially if you're close to west los angeles with a shop manual i can borrow for a few days so i can strip out my center console properly or just knowledge of how the FD interior is put together, the help would be much appreciated.

 

So your asking for free stuff to fix it because it is a cym? Is that the bottom line? And help fixing it? Good luck on it, but FD parts arent cheap! If you get the parts I know some one that would help you fix it.

im not asking for people to rip out parts for me, im asking if they have any extra bits(these are very minor pieces, like extra buttons and ****) that they arent using, why not help someone out? i sure would. im saying its a shame to see a nice rx7 get fucked up because of some punks, im not asking for charity donations of money, just extra interior pieces that arent being used.

i know it is, and not everyone is all about money and stuff, sometimes when people that share the same passion as you get down, you give them a little lift up. im not asking for any big "hookups" or anything this is some unused interior pieces im asking for, im sure there's people with parts cars with these sorts of pieces that are being unused and that i could buy.

no not really. it's just a car. if you own an FD, there really sholdn't be an excuse for you not being financially capable maintaining one. if you own one w/o the proper $$$ then you're only digging your own grave by inflating your ego.

lol, that shows how little you know before you're posting, i was just talking with saburo earlier and said the exact same thing "its just a car" its not the end of the world by any means, its just some interior and electronic parts that were damaged and a stolen headunit, amp and sub, but its the principle of someone invading my private property that bothers me the most. everything stolen is replacable but my security is not for a while.

oh and about selling the car, i'd sell it if you had the money(although i dont know where you got the headache part, its been great so far)

and where did you get the "headache" part too, the car runs like a champ, after today half of my interior will be in the garage, and thats only going to improve my performance, haha, maybe i should take out the passenger seat too.

go and say that to everyone else on the board who has an fd project and see what happens. and earlier i just said i have cash to buy parts off of peoples parts cars and stuff. you're savings isnt even worth half the value of the car, so keep dreaming about owning an FD, and i'll have fun in mine with my broken interior console piece

anyways seriously i may be getting rid of my FD because i feel like i belong more in an FC. even though i drive an FD im forever an FC guy. good Turbo IIs are hard to come by though.
