I'm thinking of partially taking 101 from Portland. Did it when I went to go see MotoGP during fourth of july weekend. Redwood Forest road kicks ***.

Pineapple Racing would be pleased to offer our shop as a rendezvous in Portland, as we have for the last couple years. The Location is 13509 NE Whitaker Way, Portland, OR 97230. You can see a map >>HERE<<. We are 5 minutes from the I-205 freeway, on the Oregon/Washington border, close to numerous gas stations and convenience stores.

A meet in sac or somewhere in the bay would be ideal, either off of 101 or i-5. both are good routes to LA but I-5 would be most ideal

How about Vallejo on I-80? It is central to those coming down the coast, and from the west. Carl

BTW, I'll tow at up to ~75mph, after that, I guess I'll be on my own.

Due to the very long haul, for those of us coming from the Pacific Northwest, perhaps we should keep the meeting point on I-5? Just south of Tracy, where I-5 and I-580 converge, there is a rest area which might do the trick. The Bay Area folks could meet up in Vallejo, or wherever, then meet us at that rest area before the long stretch of nothingness north of LA.

BTW, the reason I remember that rest area is because I was once stranded there overnight when I blew the motor in my tow rig on the way to Florida for a race. I drive down to LA or LV a couple times a year and, every time I drive by there, I remember the predicament.

For previous sevenstocks, the sacramento people have meet up at:

I-5 AT LAGUNA BLVD. in Elk Grove.

then go to Santa Nella to meet up with the bay area people behind the "rotten robbies" in the big parking lot.

Probably best to just keep this part the same!

Anyone else going to caravan with us from the Bay Area? People posted before, but are you guys still going or just cruising to Irvine on your own?
