Thats earlier than before, but thats fine by me, ill just adjust my schedule for it!

 

I believe the adjustment was made last year due to all the traffic on the drive from Santa Clarita to Irvine. See you there...

wow. i used to stay the summers in Livermore and I dont remember it but I can picture it. anyways I was wonderin if us seattle guys were gonna meet uphere or just make a b-line for pineapple. We'd leave last and get thier first!!!!! :-) hahah.

BTW- Blake, yer the **** buddy. THE ****. If I dont have a ride can I get smuggled in the trailer or what? hahhaa.

Ah bummer, that means us in the Santa Rosa area of the North bay will have to leave around 5 am, to catch up with that.

I'd suggest you change one thing on the schedule...

Last year we didn't see the truck stops in Santa Clarita, and drove around until we found a good place to stop and eat. It was a pain keeping everyone together, and those who tried to join up couldn't find us. It's a good area to stop, but someone should pick a better location...

Hey Bob, I was starting to think you wern't going to go this year. Glad to hear from you. Umm, yeah, didnt we stop at some shopping plaza last year? Lots of food and stores, and lots of parking. Was it farther down on Old Road? Anyone from that area? Some help on directions to that Plaza would be nice. They had this pizza place where they only cook the small ones it that helps, haha.

 

Im not sure where you are talking about but a bit more down the freeway there are a few hamburger places (in and out carls jr and some others.) The mall is only like a 1/2 mile from the freeway too.

 

I will be @ SS-8 but not driving. I already had a trip planned to Dana Point for the weekend & I'm flying down Friday am. I'll look for the caravan as I pass overhead.

Do you know anyone who might want to drive my POS FD down for the show? It still hasn't passed 40K mi. yet.... I guess it will have to sit in the garage!

You dont want someone driving your sweet FD man. You want it in the show that bad? lol. I'm sure I can find a lot of people to drive your FD. Well at least you get to go to SS. See you there.

Alright I am offically in for the caravan with one exception- I'll be splitting off from you guys at Kettleman City of Lost Hills (depending how swept up in the spirit I get). Then I'll be going the rest of the way saturday early morning (have business I need to take care of in SLO).

Hey if you really need someone to drive your FD I'll do it! I'm used to driving an N/A FC so I'll probably be too scared to get it above the power levels I'm used to and I have an accident free history. Plus it gets to sit safely and securely at my grandparents house in Arroyo Grande over night on friday (but I bet you'd wanna see it friday night so probably not eh?). PM me if you're really serious though, I can adjust my schedule...

 

Well, better sense prevailed and I have decided to fly. It didn't hurt that I got an airline hookup. Good luck, all.
