I saw a Brownish/goldish FB vert headed towards Springfield/Kingstowne on the Franconia-Springfield / Fairfax County Parkway... 7:45 PM, 20 August...
Who are you? Fess up! It looked sweet. I woulda flagged you down had I not been going in the opposite direction.

Damnit!!! I need to fix my car so I can dome to these meets! The closest I would've come would have been to have an SE alxe and front struts in the bed of my pickup.
I really need to find a place to put these. I am NOT lugging that axle up to a 4th floor apartment.

You should have turned around and followed to the meet, lol. I rarely see any RX-7s on the road and almost never see any FB's. Three in the same place was a pretty good showing. It was fun, and nice meeting everyone.

I gotta sandblast and powdercoat this SE axle and Miata Torsen Diff housing...
Weld angle iron over the rust holes in the rear wheel wells.
Remove the engine and have it street ported...
Install the CP Rack and pinion kit.
Install my spoiler and front air dam...
Get it painted...
Research what I wanna do with the suspension...
Sounds like you have your work cut out for quite a while! It should be a very nice car in when you're done. Keep us posted; I'll be interested what you think of the CP R&P when you get it installed. See you around.

My only first hand experience is with Peter (PFS), and Brett (Rotary Performance)--and remans from Malloy. Any of the places in this thread have their good recommendations, as does Rotary Ressurection. Talk to some of their recent customers, keeping in mind different people will have different experiences, employees come and go, and their workloads at any point in time can affect the how the job gets done. If I needed an engine, I would probably look at Pineapple, KDR, and Brett who is local (Manassass) and has a great reputation. You should definitely consider him. http://www.rp-performance.com/
