fender flares show case

The ones on DreamInRotary's car are ZG Datsun flares (I know because he bought them from me lol). I got them from ZG Fender Flares a few years ago.
The ones on my car are from eBay, and are listed as "JDM/Miata style" flares. They are a "universal" style flare that fits a ton of different cars, from Miata's, to FB's, to even some Subaru's.
The biggest difference between the ZG and "Jdm" flares is that the ZG ones are bigger (both wider, and larger front to back, when viewed from the side) in the rear than the front. This works if you have larger/wider rear wheels/tires, but I don't and it didn't look right to me. The JDM flares are the same front and back, it matched the look I was going for much better

^That's what finally made me take the plunge into the Flare pool lol. Had some minor rust starting around the quarter panel lips - what better way to fix it than to cut it off haha. I love the look (obviously!)

They are awesome for fitting wide wheels, I never would have been able to fit them without the flares. The issue is when your suspension is too soft and you install the flares too low...I rub now in the rear, gotta fix that by next season.

I'm trying to avoid that at all costs. Coilovers in the rear should help with movement (since there won't be much on a stiffer setting). Will see what this winter brings though, big plans ahead.
