It looks like the compressor is good for ~ 73lbs/min?

The exhaust wheel and housing are designed for high flow, so that is complimentary to the rotary.

Sounds like a decent budget turbo on a rotary if you are getting it for free.

 

Just depends on your power goals I suppose, several people have used HX40's in the past. It's going to run out of breath pretty quickly from the looks of that compressor map.

 

i tuned my ex-coworkers fd with the billet wheel super 40 7 blade: street port 13brew 402whp@13psi his exhaust housing is too small t3 16cm2 but spooled stupid quick at 2500 pulled good until 7500rpm power a torque fell he need a twin power or coil upgrades now imo a exhaust housing also but still acts like it has more to give.. He plans to get water meth injection as well

 

in terms of power, Think of it as a BWs360. It'll need a large Turbine housing.
