Wow, that part actually qualifies for this thread. You should sell it to me later.

From what I understand of it at the moment, looks like the small corner vents are SP, the Japan M2 1020 never had them in the pics I can find online.

Perhaps those were made from the RX-7 SP 2 hood molds.

You could tell by if the rear louvers are molded as part of the hood instead of added on.

Carbon man, aka Ian Pollard sells them still, I think he said they were the vents used on the Sierra Cosworth RS500 back in the day....and added locally.

Bonnets were never composite, but there's several vendors down here who make them - without giving that middle-man his cut too.

There was an M2 bonnet on Yahoo a few months back, almost new condition ~ US1100 roughly.

It was 140,000 yen, really caught my attention being that I have one in the back yard. I suspect the auction may have been skewed by the fact it was listed as an unknown manufacturer. We'll see when it gets painted I guess.

Can you guys suggest someone to buy a part off of yahoo Japan auctions?

I found a small piece and don't know how to go through the process.

Also if anyone has or knows where to get the MS seats Id be interested!

This thread got stirred up, was in hibernation!

I wouldn't be turning my nose up at your one! I do remember the last new old stock SP bonnet that some clever dealer employee snapped up from Mazda, was offered for $Au1500 - that's about 20 years ago even.

Must admit, often wonder if there's something in the air in Japan with all the clear coat failures you see on painted panels. More UV down here, but you'd rarely see it in something relatively modern as an FD.

Snook, I usually use Jesse Streeter - a recent 4 rotor convert - for anything posting size - just needs a bit of notice to place the bid.

...some goodies from my collection...

1. Aragosta coilovers
2. AutoCraft front under diffusor
3. Revolution strut bar - similar to the mazdaspeed and feed (i had these both, too), but perhaps the revo is the most expensive you never see them anywhere,
4. very rare Stack8130 street dash from SARD, real carbon fiber meter panel kit also from SARD
5. KnightSports electrin mirrors
6. FEED in tank fuel collector
7. AutoEXE tunable suspension kit (dampers are aragosta)

...in case you're wondering, every part except the aragosta coilovers is for sale. Drop me a message if you 're interested.

^ I still remember approx 5-6 years ago, I sent pms to Carbon Man, wanted to buy a set of the SP CF Intake kit, with all the CF pipings, but Carbon Man never reply pms. I really like the SP CF Intake and the duct which catches cold air. Similar to the Knightsports V-Mount intake, also catches cold air.

I have the KS V-mount intake, by far my favorite, and by the design seams least restrictive. Only problem is KS charges over $100 for replacement filters...I tried finding a K&N replacement (I think KS is a K&N unit, but they have a patent on the shape) but the problem is the KS filter has a round base and a oval top...impossible to fit any other filer properly...

ok...rant over

Dude I hate to talk trash. Those coilovers are insane for sure.

I'm sure you're a great driver and the car is nice, but just can't get beyond putting an ls1 in your cym. : (
I literally feel sick after watching that video. Have a corvette or a viper, have the rx7 but don't have both together

I sorta remember him having something like a hotmail address the last time he was on the forum ~ 10 years ago, ringing or calling by his factory works I know!

I might have given someone a bumsteer the other day passing along the email he was using a few years ago....this looks to be the present one -

I heard back from him. He's super busy and gives priority to existing customer. You pretty much have to go through PAC or SMB to get to him.

We're running an interest thread here to see if we have a shot of getting a bulk order together: https://www.rx7club.com/group-buy-pr...pipes-1110851/

Any more pics?

Are they actually connected through some kind of bracket?

I want to keep it so rare that I'm limiting to one pic jk haha.

The airways are separate, they are mounted on a bracket together that can be seen.just two side by side.
Looks Hella cool! I'd probably plumb both as the bov and keep the stock crv. Not sure I may try it this way on stock twins and if single could try the other way. I don't know how it sounds though. My favorite is the greddy type s bov

Yeah, I can't imagine an open vented recirc valve.

All the time you are boosting on the primary turbo its just like PSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH while you are waiting for it to shut up and get some power with the 2ndary changeover.

Sequential FD already sounds like a damn jet from the 2ndary turbo whirrring away in surge/recirc.

You could recirculate or use a small k&n. Or if your car has a man's exhaust you wouldn't hear the crv. I've had a vented crv many times and not noticed it??

I'd like to give this a try it looks alien like and very hardcore

I tried searching the thread but I figured I would ask before post a picture. ARC Super Titan front strut bar. Would it be appropriate to post here?
