So I am going to do what I should have done first, make two more and put them both on the car and give you installed pics to decide on.

Until then, help me clarify your votes with either the Gold Back or the Clear-Translucent until I get the better pics on the car.

Again, im in the same boat. if one is cheaper/ more readily available go with that. The gold back maybe I like more, really hard to say.

 

I think I like the gold back because it may deter me from trying to read backwards writing and rear ending someone.

Love this, and would be in for a couple.

On a side note, I'm surprised there was never a decal or plaque commemorating the overall LeMans win in these cars, since it was just the year before they came out. If you look in an older Lotus, they used to have little wreath plaque/stickers commemorating each of their World Championships (F1) as a "heritage" thing.

The original sticker was located on the passenger side of the windshield and it was about 6 inches from the lower corner.

UPDATE:

I got some new samples and need some final feed back. So I took several pics to get an idea of visibility and perspective from inside and outside the car. I mounted both stickers (as you can see from the pics) with the CLEARsticker on top......and the.....GOLDsticker on the bottom

Thoughts?

 

The Clear sticker is not completely legible if there is a glare or if you aren't right on top of it. Here is another just to show how it kinda changes with less light after some clouds came through.

This is a tough one!! I do not like how the clear looks from inside the car but I like how from the outside it is more subtle...

overall I agree with Narfle GOLD!

 

Obviously I'm biased.
