What's your favorite intake?

I like the old RB side draft. I know it's not the best setup, but to me it's art...

I had that setup for about 20+ years and loved it. The sound is amazing and its pretty good at
WOT as well. It did have some issues on corners but you could drive thru em pretty easy once
you learned it.

My fav now is the hogged out nikki and manifold I have now on the car. Its amazeballs and
even better than the dell at performance and corners. Gets about the same mileage or better.

Nikki for me too. Hogged out for more air flow, tuned accurately with a wideband, nice older intake manifold from the 70s. Beats a side draft easily.

I'll chime in for the Weber 36 DCD's. They are by far the coolest, are so tunable you can make them run well on everything from stock port 12a's to big streetport 13b's, with a wideband you can even tweak the tune to get a lean mixture at cruise, but then richen it up at wot, probably the best of both worlds for drivability and still flow well for good power.

Oh, and getting to learn to synchronize twins is a hoot!!

In my imagination the coolest rotary would be a 20b NA, with a custom made manifold and three DCDs!!!!!!Really cool header too.

The only downside to these carbs is they don't grow on trees.

oh come on robert, post a pic like everyone else.

my experience has only been with holley's but i too favor the dcd's just cause they have that coolness factor like no other.
