Speed Machine took my money :(

I had ordered a block off kit from speedmachine and they sent it to the wrong adress... so i thought hey call em back and have em send it here...but they wanted me to pay shipping again, to they asked if i want my money back to pay for shipping i said i want the money.... its been almost 3 months since then and i have called them so many times i know the # by heart and no one has givin me my money yet.

Is there any way i can get ahold of these guys and get my money back?

damn, my friend had a similar experience with them but they kept repeatedly sending the wrong part. and then they couldn't get back to him because they were always "at a drift event"

Too late now for TILA protection if he already paid the amount on his statement 3 months ago. If you have not paid your CC bill yet, call your CC and dispute the charges.

they are closed for good, they used to be a few miles away from me, and they worked on my car a while back, I left some stuff over there and I regret doing that, cuz if I knew that they were closing i would of grabbed my 800$ rear diffuser. Also, I know those guys, its a tragic story. actually its because of one....

^+1, I'd like to know as well. I was looking for their website recently, trying to remember the name of the company. I'm pretty sure I tried Speed Machine even.

What? That's the most assanine reasoning ever. Blackmail assumes you're using a story to leverage something against SMP. SMP no longer exists therefore you can't blackmail them.

Don't assume.

They were a corporation/llc THIS MEANS: Owners are not personally liable for company losses. You would not beleive how many people have lost oodles of money because of them. Even Ray Crowe has is in the same boat as us.

Because of what a certain employee did to me holds him personally liable for many of the events that occurred in my case. We are still investigating so I am not going to run my mouth on what people say. Even if it is the horses mouth, how do you know the horse is telling the truth?

When I know for sure I will share. Sorry for opening my mouth in the first place. I should have waited.

wow I almost forgot about this thread lol. well the story is, is that Matt and Dave were partners in speedmachine performance. everybody is pointing the finger at Dave for leaving speedmachine to work somewhere else and he supposedly ran off with a lot of money. That is what i was told. now whether it was him or Matt that sold off my diffuser to someone remains a mystery. Dave contacted me not too long ago saying that he saw my diffuser on someone else's car not too long ago. I have nothing to gain from telling this story, since they are no longer in business and they screwed a lot of people over. In fact I believe when they did the work on my car they overpriced me for a lot of stuff without me even knowing enough about the car. I know the FD inside and out now, I wont get tricked again ever.....
