Angry Massive Speed System: Terrible ebay store!!

They have overall good scoring but I have to report here a terrible experience with them.

I ordered brake lines for my FD, never received.
I reacted too late to have paypal actions but tried to solve with them by e-mails.
They always had the same excuse that they shipped the parts once and that one way or the other they will find a solution to my case.
After more than 2 months without any solution neither through emails nor through the ebay dispute console I decided to leave a negative feedback on ebay.

Immediate reaction then from them (the proof that sometimes they can react fast): negative feedback on me!

My advice: stay away from them!

I've just stumbled across this, this morning. I used to work for Massive speed system a few years back, And never really ran into these types of problems. Specially international customers. I don't know how it is over there now but seems things are falling apart. Its a small family owned buisiness that cares only of the family wealth. I had to quit cause i wasn't making enough, and saw how much they were paying themselves. I spoke with the owners son, which claims he's the owner off massive speed system, About raising my income from the measly penny he was paying, and spoke about my finances to prove it wasn't enough to live on. No remorse, turned down. Massive isn't a registered business, but that of secondary business homed in the building of Techstar International. They buy Wire EDM. Machines, tear out the wiring, and rebuild them working again, and sell them. Its an old school Machine used to cut metal using a thin wire and electrical current. similar to the process of cutting metal with a arc welder, but very much smaller arcing, and higher frequencies. Anyway. The Brake lines we sold, and prolly still are the Russel brake lines. Purchase from a local wholesaler, Keystone automotive, and VSIHP. ( www.keystone-auto.com www.ekeystone.com and www.vsihp.com ) The Russels arent the best fitting as previously stated by another poster, and probably arn't the best choice for many vehicles. I own a focus, and would rather design my own set then put those on. The mark up is pretty high on those since the last time i seen the price. they usually went for 80 bux marked up. 10-15% 91 is getting up there greedy. You can have a set made up for no more then 25-30 bux at a local Hose supply. I had the diagrams brought in for all four wheels, and woulda costed me 15 bux to have them make and pressure test, and have stamped DOT approved for legal road use. i couldn't remember what the DOT requirements are but remember being told 2500-3000psi with no leaks. or bursting. All in All i sorta glad one member had to go through this to leak the truth. but unforunatly it had to be you. I will never do buisiness with massive ever again, solely based on their buisiness ethics. Other then that, the guy will talk circles around you and tell you what you'll like to hear to make you happy.
