Yeah. I was asking around because I was trying to contact them. I did a search on the internet and a bunch of different forum posts of bad transactions popped up. Some rx7club posts , but others like S12club.org and maybe one other website.

BTW, does anyone know if they have a groove for the grease in their design, or is it a straight bushings?

farberio 04-20-08 09:34 AM

So...MMR Just made an update to their website at 4/15/08. Are they back? Did anyone with problems get them resolved?

Stanello 04-20-08 11:52 AM

I just ordered a set of bushings from them about a month ago, they came in a timely fashion and I didn't have any issues with them.

EJayCe996 05-11-08 04:29 PM

purchased some used TII calipers off of them a few weeks ago on a Thursday morning and got them that Saturday.

farberio 05-15-08 08:14 PM

Just for more confirmation, My order came in. They are back.

Angry Earl 05-28-08 04:15 PM

Ordered solid rear diff mounts and tranny mounts on 5/18/2008, sent multiple emails asking what's up, and have received or heard NOTHING FROM THEM.

I fucking have track days to make, and they're coming up QUICK.

What a bunch of cunts.

Filed a claim through Paypal...I want my fucking money back.

If anybody can post up that magical phone number where you can reach them (anything other than the 931-249-0238, that goes straight to a random voicemailbox) , that would be splendid.

farberio 05-28-08 06:11 PM

I know they claimed to have a tooling problem when I ordered so it took some time...but they did send me them eventually.

And for the price I would rather wait then get them from Mazdatrix.

That sucks. I was trying to get delrin bushings for my car during the period their website was down. So I ended up making my own. Too bad I dont have anymore 3" round stock delrin or I would sell you mine
http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...x/IM000474.jpg

That is the pic without the metal sleeve in it yet, shit, I didnt even wipe off the dycem. I finished the metal sleeve though

I might sell my transmission mounts, but I am not sure how good they would be without a metal sleeve. I got lazy and just drilled holes in the proper sized delrin

http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...x/IM000495.jpg

I only have 3 more meetings for my class, or else I would buy more delrin and make some more bushings

Angry Earl 05-28-08 10:23 PM

Ya, my car's been in fucking LIMBO for the last 3 weeks...the thought of making my own shit DEFINATELY crossed my mind. But I was all like,

a.) Where the fuck do I find aluminum/polythene stock?

b.) What size would I need?

c.) Would having someone machine them for me be possible, without costing me a million dollars?

I sourced a set out of another forum, so now I'm just waiting for PayPal to hopefully get my moneyzzz back...but I also know better than to hold my breath.

oh yeah...AND STILL NOT A WORD FROM MMR.

booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooo:icon_tdow

oh, and Initial D, I would have TOTALLY BOUGHT THAT SHIT...looks good.:icon_tup:

F1blueRx7 05-29-08 09:24 AM

I bought some front subframe mounts like 2 weeks (Specifically 5/16/08) ago and just got the tracking number for it last night. I wasn't dieing to get my shit right away or anything so it wasn't a big deal for me. but I can see how some folks need shit right away. Like my brake rotors from rx7store that i still don't know if i'm going to get in time for me to leave for vacation on tuesday...

I've purchased probably 2 full sets of bushings from MMR since 2006 and their product is hands down the best shit you can buy. I wish they made a real diff mount solution thats more solid then that peice of shit mazda comp mount.

I'm assuming like most specialy shops with small markets that they make their shit in batches which most likely explains the delays and it makes sense to me, it also keeps their prices low. As long as it isn't more then a month that i'm waiting or needed on a deadline. I try to order more then I need so i've got spares for shit that breaks often on hand.

arkady151 06-05-08 11:02 AM

I ordered about the same time as the last few guys, around early to mid May. Didnt get anything for a week or two so I shot them an email. Their machine was broke , but Ross offered to overnight the completed Sub and Diff bushings. I chose to wait for the DTSS ones also. I was told that the bushings would go out this Monday, which they did and I recived them yesterday. So I think all their issues are fixed, this is probably the third set I've bought from them, and like everything said thier shit is top notch.

incubuseva 12-07-08 02:31 PM

Anyone else having problems with them?

Josh18_2k 12-11-08 04:51 PM

i need their damn number!!!!
i ordered 3 weeks ago and they dont respond to emails.

rnz520 12-13-08 07:50 PM

I ordered on the 4th, they shipped out the 11th, not as fast as hoped but still within decent time, they should be there by monday or tuesday.
Josh18 2K have you received your parts yet?

Josh18_2k 12-13-08 08:41 PM

the guy finally emailed me back.
he said the motor went out on his lathe, and he's gonn use a friend's lathe over the weekend and overnight them on Monday.

i threatened a paypal dispute prior to his response. apparently that works pretty well

Brismo7 12-26-08 03:41 PM

Hmmm. I need some parts, do you guys think its alright to order from MMR? Their prices rock, but its no bueno if i have to wait forever to recieve parts :\

farberio 12-27-08 11:34 AM

Email them to see if everything is a-ok.

fonzi581 01-19-09 09:01 PM

I placed an order for drivetrain mount set and rear subframe mounts on 01/07/09 and I have yet to recieve my parts as well. I've emailed them twice about my order but I guess I wasn't threatening enough to get a response.

Josh18_2k 01-19-09 10:32 PM

I got my MMR spherical control arm bearing like 2 weeks ago.
Yah they're slow, but they came through. They should answer emails. When in doubt, send more. Worked for me.

fonzi581 01-22-09 07:31 PM

Well I finally got my parts I ordered 2 weeks ago. I sent multiple emails and never got a message returned to me but I'm happy with my parts though.

mattp 07-23-09 05:02 PM

They still take forever to ship and have no communication skills. I placed an order on 6/28.

incubuseva 07-23-09 09:03 PM

That's pretty funny. I ordered a shit ton of parts from them on 6/22. Supposedly my order was shipped on the 15th....... Well, I have a track day this sunday (that's in 3 fucking days) let's just say I'm not too happy with them.

I sent an email on the 14th and they created a USPS label via PayPal on the 15th. Is that what you went by in assuming when it was shipped?

Yesterday evening I got a reply to my second email saying that they made sure it went out today (yesterday).

I pointed out in the second email that:

1) They did not reply to the original email, but instead printed a shipping label the day after. The timing was likely a coincidence.

2) Shipping via USPS Priority takes 2-3 days and the package was going from TN to NC. That would suggest that it didn't ship on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Probably Monday as well...

3) It's known that MMR is slow to deliver and has poor communication skills as evidence of the various personal accounts online.

I understand they're small, but communcation goes a very long way.

incubuseva 07-28-09 03:11 PM

So I sent him an angry email thursday threatening to go through the BBB if he doesn't reply.

Got an email back the next morning (friday) saying basically he'll have it shipped out later that day.

Checked the tracking number again to no avail.

I got my parts yesterday 7/27

So, all in all, if you want to order from them, don't be in a hurry. Also shoot them an email several weeks after the order.

Josh18_2k 07-28-09 05:18 PM

i didnt get my stuff until i threatened a paypal dispute lol
they just need some motivation
