Someone directed me to this thread. I was not aware of it. But you know what guys.... those prices actually arent that bad.
$1400-$1500 for front fenders, rear fenders, and rear bumper?
I think that's a good deal in my opinion. With limited demand our prices would be nearly the same. Maybe off buy $100-300. Not much.
I personally think it is priced reasonably and if you guys REALLY wanted it, you guys should order from Japan.

Yeah you're probably right.. oh well I'll be there in April.
This is kind of off subject but since I'll be there does anyone know or can you think of any clever ways to cut transportation costs if I'm picked it up there??

but why get real jdm quality parts that barely fit correctly??, when you can get shine auto replicas of the same exact thing???
I'd say if shine made the replica's people wouldn't have to wait as long right and people would know what kind of quality they're getting! who cares if it's over night shipped from japan and you'd have jdm bragging rights??! I know the people in this thread WANT not perfer! shine auto quality!

Shine has good stuff.
But you have the wrong mentality.
No one cares about jdm bragging rights on this forum.
You buy quality parts that end up making up most of what you want
your car to be. If your car consists of cheap, copy parts. It shows what
kind of person you are.

So I guess that shows what kind of person you are. I love the FC but am also a realist.
The Japanese parts industry is plagiarism central
There were a few things you guys didn’t factor in though.
1- there are a lot more hassles with shipping from Japan- customs, tax, damage, theft ect.
2- parts are straight fiberglass, very easy to damage.
3 there is a language barrier which = crappy/no customer service

Is this really going to get going? If so, I'm in for the fenders and side panels and IF POSSIBLE, DOOR MOLDINGS

Does the FC2000 fit the stock body…
Front you could use whatever bumper you choose
Not so sure about the rear but anything can be modified to fit
Surely now we have enough interest to justify at least a front fender replica?
