SEIBON CARBON: We are now an Authorized Distributor for SEIBON Products

Hey Guys,

I would like to announce we are now an authorized distributor for Seibon products. If anyone is interested in Seibon products, please feel free to get in contact with us (email or phone is best) and we will do our best to service your needs.

Seibon is located 25 minutes from our facility. We do not need to stock their parts on hand. We can simply pick-up in-stock items from their location and ship from our facility.

Seibon has a minimum advertising price (MAP) of 15% off their advertised retail prices listed on their website. We can only publicly quote and advertise those prices and not a penny less. This rule applies to all of their distributors. However, further price negotiations can be made behind closed doors, so don't hesitate to give us a call.

Why buy Seibon products through us?

1. If you are already looking into making a purchase with us and also looking to purchase Seibon products, significant cost savings can be had through combined shipping of our goods with theirs.

For Example:

If you are purchasing a bumper or full bodykit from us, our shipping rate to the lower 48 states is $165 to a business or $185 to residential. If you are ordering a hood or a rear hatch from Seibon (through us) and it will safely fit in our box, then you will not incur any additional shipping charges. If the Seibon package does not fit in our box, it is usually cheaper to ship 2 boxes through one carrier going to one recipient than it is to ship individually. Seibon and their distributors charge about $165 to ship a hood to the lower 48 states. We should be able to beat that price if combined with our package or make that cost ZERO. You will be hard pressed to find any distributor willing to save you an additional $165 off MAP pricing.

2. Seibon does have hit-and-miss products in regards to fitment. As we gradually get parts in for customers, we will review each product as best as we can. Pictures will be provided (only for the reviewed product). We will give an opinion on fitment quality, but ultimately, it is up to you as the consumer to decide what is good enough for you and what isn't. This will help clear the air about their Rx7 products. We have an FC and FD here for test fitting.

3. We will inspect the product for you before shipping. If there is a questionable issue, we will notify you and try to get an exchange before shipping (assuming they have another in stock). Ultimately, it will be your call if you want the product before we ship to you. It is certainly to our advantage Seibon is reasonably close to our facility to help facilitate these exchanges. Seibon products are heavily and thoroughly packaged. Many distributors would hesitate to unpack their goods to inspect and go through the hassle of packing again. We can do this and we believe this can help avoid issues down the line. It is better to check goods before shipping than to wait for you to report an issue that could've been avoided if a distributor took the time to check.

All in all, we believe we can provide a unique service and potential cost savings over other Seibon distributors, which there are many of, simply because of the unique nature of our business.

About Seibon Products:

Seibon products are made overseas in China/Taiwan. Their carbon fiber parts are vacuum infused for the most part. Some parts are not vacuum infused and I will gradually report those details in our reviews. Their parts are also shot with an automotive urethane clear coat after production. Most carbon hoods on the market only have a clear gel coat. Seibon has taken it a step further by applying a clear coat on top of their clear gel coat, which creates a higher gloss product and gives added UV and weathering protection to prevent fading and yellowing over time. I do not know the quality of the clear coat they are using, but it is my opinion they are most likely using a medium grade one for cost savings. If it were a higher grade automotive urethane clear coat like PPG or Glasurit, I am sure they would heavily advertise that. However, even the lowest quality automotive clear coat is better than the highest quality clear gel coat.

I do not believe Seibon currently has any parts for the FC3S.
