Getting my car painted this year. I would want this on before paint as I would want the flake to lie the same. Carbon Fiber would be worth a couple hundred to me.

So, uh, has anyone heard anything from the vendor about this?

Or I guess what I'm really asking, has anyone had experience with this vendor and found them trustworthy? They don't exactly seem to be jumping on this opportunity or staying on top of it, we're pretty much begging them to make them. They said they wanted 15 people on a group buy list and we're at 22 and haven't heard a peep from them. I'd love to get one of these, but I can't afford for a couple hundred dollars to disappear for God knows how long, money doesn't come easy. I can't be the only one a little skeptical.

 

I bought a front airdam off them a few years ago for my FC and the product was excellent and no other issues . I have not been involved with a product development exercise like this before though.

 

It's usually not profitable to make stuff for first gens. That could be scaring them

 

Great vendor, just needs to believe. Plus, they could easily drop a price that's (fair) to them but might scare away 75%+ of the people on the list then this goes dead. At this point, I think there's enough interest for them to want to figure out a price and production ETA, show us that and then we can decide who really wants one in the end. That shouldn't be too hard to produce for us.

there are a lot of people on here with income tax checks burning holes in there pockets. one of the venders could have cashed out on it.

i hate to do this guys but i'm out. an old lady hit my fb and wrote it off so i've got an fc now. hope this goes through though cuz if i ever get back into an fb i'll DEFINITELY want this front air dam.

Money's too tight for me to be holding onto cash for something like this when the manufacturer makes something like one post per month. I can't afford to loose $400 and wait several months for a product that may or not show up. I'm out. I'd love to have one, maybe I'll find one used or someone will stock some someday.
