just to elaborate why i say 25;

the whole reason we are trying to do this, is bring an unique fender to market. If its just a ventless 30mm, its nothing that cant be had stateside already. Like ken said you can go out and buy a 30mm right now and just mold over the vent and your good.

a 25mm ventless fender would be unique to shine and to the us market and i think more sought after for most of the fc guys, who want more low key stuff (from what I have seen on here)

my .02

im more for low key than over-doing it. besides, you can fit 9"wide rims with 25mm, why make them wider?

I say 30 just because I can run lower offset nuts-o wheels.

But at the same time, its only a 5mm difference, so I wouldn't really mind either way.

30mm may be available, but its only available in fiberglass. i think if 30mm was available in FRP, urethane, or the hiflex crap people would definately choose it over the corksport/mariah ones. and mariah's price sux ***.

FRP=Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic. It's a little bit of a trick because the resin used in hardening the fibreglass cloth is a polyurethane-based resin. Thus it is technically a type of plastic. FRP is a term and it what is more commonly just called "Fibreglass" (even though that alone should technically just be the glass cloth).

So yeah... its funny how 1 has a negative connotation (in the aftermarket business) and the other is respected, but they are both the SAME thing.

about the FRP thing- ive seen fiberglass body kits, which arent at all flexible, and are usually shitty with cracks all over, then ive seen the other kits- which i thought were FRP. smooth surface, and you can twist em. maybe i was confised? point is, i'd like a fender that has some flex to it, in case something comes in contact with it.
(i admit i dont know much about fiberglass)
