Rishie,

Let me know if you need some original brackets for use as a mock up. I can confirm that the APR GTC series of wings actually bolt up to these mounts on the FC, so you could buy the mounts and then buy any APR wing and be done.

Unfortunately the APR carbon stuff is more expensive than the RE original, but at least you can get it within a reasonable period of time.

Any interest in Carbon Canards for the FC2000? PM me if so. I also might have an extra set of lexan headlight covers ready to go. Just thinking at this point really and want to gauge interest...

Fix the lights or fabricate them? There has been some good pictures and advice on how to proceed with this but ask away!

One quick new general question... Is the Shine FC2000 bumper designed for fitment with S4 or S5 fenders? I have a set of each and am currently setting up a dzus anchor system for the bumper and splitter... Is there a gap if I use S4 fenders or do I have to use S5 fenders to eliminate any gap?

Racerjason: Dunno if you got Ken to answer this or not but he'd probably know for sure...I've seen a couple people use S4 fenders however I never saw them run canards (I assume thats what you mean by splitters)...On my S5 the canards go through the bumper and through the fender which also helps keep the front end pretty sturdy and I do notice a difference from before when I was running without canards...Hope that helps...even if it is like 2 months too late..

I called O'Reilly Auto Parts and asked if they had any 4" to 4.25" headlights, these are the ones they showed me:

High:
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...?keyword=h5001
Low:
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...?keyword=h5006

They're super cheap, but I get the feeling they wouldn't put out sufficient light, and may have a terrible pattern... has anyone had much luck with this? I just ordered my FC2000 front bumper.

Also, the Hellas that a lot of guys use (high then low):
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...tomotive&psc=1
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...tomotive&psc=1

Can you just wire those in place of the stock lights? Or will I have to buy some kit? I hadn't realized that just the lights were going to cost ~$250 so I want to know what else I'm going to have to buy if I get the Hellas...

I got a set of brackets..just the cages. You would have to make adusters for the lights out of screws though.
If you see GOT BOOST's Old FS thread then the brackets that are on his lights is basically what I have.

I used these for the turn signals. $14 bucks.

I just epoxied them in there.

Here's a picture of the $30 dollar head light/fog lamp installed. You can see where they are screwed to. I highly recommend welding the brackets also.

There really is no easy way to do this besides temporarily mount/dismount the bumper about 40 times to get the lights where you want them.

hey schmitty what is the light pattern on them? almost everyone i see with the fc2000 bumper has to put fogs in the lower openings as the lights they use for headlights provide very little actual light

I felt it was more than adequate, but I rarely drove the car at night with this setup (I went back to pop-ups and a different front end for this season). The HID lows were great when aimed properly (FWIW They might have been aimed high and blinding oncoming drivers but I never got flashed). Any "shadowing" due to the bumper shape was not apparent in the cut-off pattern. The high beams had the shutter open on the HIDs and the Hellas on for tons of light.
