I have seen threads regarding CF sunroofs but have found no vendors. I don't suppose Shine could make some for the FD? I believe there is a lot of interest.

 

About a year or more ago we started a similar thread, and got a very solid list together, only to be told that nobody felt like making it.

I'd be into one, but before we do another list, someone should confirm with this (or another) vendor that they will build it if we have X names, or X commitments. Otherwise we're likely to have lots of discussion, and go through the effort of promoting it and getting interest for nothing.

Not sure how much it would cost, however...

 

I've no doubt in my mind that someone could make 20-30 CF sunroof panels, list 'em for $150-$200, and sell 'em all... but I haven't seen anyone willing to step up yet, even with names on a list.

 

So not even Shine would be into it? It seems a very simple piece to make? Much simpler than a bumper or whatever.

 

Like I say, we got a bunch of names on a list once already, and shine declined. I'm not sure why. If somebody will make it, I'll buy it.
