Just got word that beginner/internediate will be combined. It will be an additional cost to run in a nonsevenstock all intermediate group- wich is bit whack. Whatev I'm still racing

 

donrafa7, the non-SevenStock groups get more track time, hence the higher cost. The groups getting combined will be low intermediate and beginner. High intermediate will jump up to advanced.

The main issue is the Mazda/RE community has not responded to the SS track event. 41 signed up for 90 spots SS reserved. This is what is whack! People begged us to do another track event with Mazda, and then this... no sign-ups... not so cool for SS. So we lost an entire SS run group this week. If the group didn't go, then SS was on the hook to pay for a whole run group + half another one... with no runners in them! $7K we don't have

 

I was unaware you get more track time in the other run groups. I was under the belief that they were charging extra just to change groups. more track time = higher cost is justified

unfortunately i can't make it this year and might have been the last year i could have attended for some time.

so i guess the shop will be open for those who are having issues coming through the desert.

 

"Do not show up early" is easier done than said, given unpredictability of traffic & my heavy right foot, etc, but I will do my best!
