You know we are going to. The double tree won't know what hit them this year, or, actually I was thinking, we skip the snooze fest dinner, and hit the local clubs in Irvine before heading back to the hotel pool for the afterparty party.

Don't let this banter discourage anyone who hasn't gone yet from the dinner. If you haven't gone, and are into RE cars, you should go at least once. I actually learned things there that I hadn't taken the time to learn before.

With the latest news on my new car, I will probably have time to make it back to NorCal in time to grab the FD and roll down in the caravan, but if there are delays in delivery for any reason, I will just go straight into Irvine and meet up there. If that happens, it's going to be a bit strange, being at 7 stock with out my FD. Regardless, I am 100% there.

 

That's kinda what a group of us did last year. During the dinner we went to a restaurant/arcade/bar thing nearby for drinking and dinner before heading back to the pool after party.

 

Wait nevermind that can't be right. Mark was at the restaurant thing and went to the dinner.

I dunno, we did something during the dinner.

 

We were drinkin it up during the dinner. Drew, you were already drunk...lol.

A bunch of us tied one off at Dave and Busters before getting back to the hotel....

 

I blacked out either during the dinner at Dave and Busters or on the ride home, I can't remember (lol?).

So yah, my memory isn't so great at that point. I do however remember handing over my credit card at the dinner at one point to someone, and I did get it back thankfully. And then bits and pieces of the pool party are clear but not much.

 

Can I ask a stupid question?

If SS is on the 27th, why are the days blocked out for the hotel 27-29? Don't some people want to come down the 26th before the show has started?

Why don't you fly into SFO and hitch a ride with our caravan just for fun? Then you can fly back from Irvine...

 

Possible, but hitching a ride...iono about that. It would be fun but I dont wanna be someone's baggage.

Plus, who would I hitch with? I don't know anyone down there in SF

 

you could hitch with me, Icemark or any of the NorCalers that have open seats. I don't mind. I like having a passenger to keep me company.
