Nice work Jedi on making it happen. Got to start getting cars ready now! Maybe we can do the Brea caravan again like before?
Get ready for THE most epic SevenStock EVER as the Greatest Rotary Event in the World makes it's return for the 16th straight year.
Set your calendars for Nov 9th, 2013, get those vacation requests into HR, plan on visiting Auto Club Speedway, and start getting those rotaries 'track ready' as we celebrate 20 years of the FD in America!
FULL details including time, hotels, costs, etc will be announced shortly!

I haven't been to a sevenstock since 2004. Have you guys come up with some kind of forum member identification process? Back in May, I attended the Fd testing event that Gordon Monsen sponsered. I hated not being able to put a forum name to a face. You walk around a group of people who share your passion yet, they feel like strangers. I told David Hayes that I thought it would be a great idea to have the forum members make shirts of their forum avatar with their user name on top and the forum your associated with. You could put your real name on the bottom. What do you think? I'm gonna do this myself since these get togethers are like a family reunion. Hell if a forum member wanted to offer this service, I wouldnt mind paying $20.00-30.00 for it.

Our club used to host the Big List RX-7 Forum Happy Hour just before the banquet. I'd bring nametags and people could write their REAL name and FORUM name on their tag and wear it during Happy Hour. Since the banquet stopped a few years ago I haven't been bringing my name tags to the event, but I certainly could do that again. I'll talk with Bern and see if we can't maybe set up near the stage with nametags for anyone who wants to fill one out and wear it during the day. I agree, it is NICE to meet many that you've chatted with and shared ideas over the years. Unfortunately, if someone doesn't make a concerted effort to EASILY identify each other, you realize the day after the event that many were there who you really wanted to contact.
P.S. Plus, if we do it with nametags, it costs individuals NOTHING, which frees up more money to spend on the RAFFLE!!!
