First time at SevenStock, need advice

Hi guys. I will be flying down to LA to attend my first ever SevenStock (and also visit some friends, but that's less important )

So I read through the FAQ on the official site but I still have some questions.

1. Since my FD is on the other side of the world I will be coming with a rental car, where is the best place to park if you are NOT part of the show?

2. When would be the best time to show up?

3. How long of a drive should I expect from Santa Monica to the AAA Speedway?

Any other advice that you can give me would be highly appreciated.

Thanks!

Its about an hour drive. Check the west forum or contact me via PM for any 7stock caravan to speedway.

never fear, Jedi is here!

1. when you enter the Speedway, you will be directed to general parking. From there it's a short walk to the main staging area.

2. after 9 am.
show opens by 10

3. 60- 80 mins

bring a camera and some spare cash for lunch, SS memorabilia, etc.

awesome Spalato, we're looking forward to everyone enjoying another awesome SevenStock.
One piece of advice: if you're planning on buying a t-shirt, do it early as we sell out EVERY year.

I learned this the hard way at my 1st SS.

My recommendation would be to drive your rental car here: https://www.rx7club.com/sevenstock-1...ravan-1091352/

park it and ride with anyone who will be heading back that way after the show. Heck, you can ride with me and I'd be glad to drop you off to pick up your rental.

Wow thank you very much for the offer SolarAbby! That would be amazing. However I did make a promise to a friend that has a disability that I would take him, he is really into cars and going to SS would mean allot to him. I have to drive him to the event and back. So unfortunately I cannot take you up on the offer, but I really do appreciate it!

I fly in at LAX at around that time so I'll probably miss this, but let me know if there will be any meet-ups after the SS event Saturday night!

Had an amazing time! Bought a few banners, a shirt, and a rotor plushie...took over 700 photos...

And actually won a prize at the raffle! Goodridge stainless steel brake lines! Woot! I actually needed a set of these.

Thanks everyone for a great time!
