Except for SS8, is there any other stuff going on that is car/mazda/etc. related going on in CA/west coast (roadtrip)?

I have the Oct 1 Classic Japmeet down, but are there any other things going on?

Any fun stuff at Laguna Seca maybe?

Hi all.

Anyone been to the Skip Barber driving school? I am thinking about the 2 day ultra high performance course at laguna seca on the 27-28 Sept.

Is it worth the 1400 USD ? I am looking for a good driving experience, fun time, learn skills, and drive the Mazda Laguna Seca(-although it's in a Dodge, yack!).

What do you think ?

 

I would love to get some passenger laps around Laguna, but no one does it. Such a shame.

Skip Barber is one of the best driving schools in the USA, and Laguna is awesome. The money will be well spent, IMHO. Also the surronding areas (Monterey, Carmel) are some of the most beautiful in the world.

But a note, Laguna Seca is about 5-6 hour drive north of the SevenStock event... it shouldn't be an issue as you are going to the Skip Barber school a few weeks before, but I wanted to mention it.
