No, unfortunately. I still need to fix the front end and that probably won't happen til next spring.

 

sorry to hear of the bad news. However, What is the extent of the front end damage. Perhaps I can Point you in the right direction. I don't mean Money wise!!!! maybe a faster solution to getting her up and running.

Pretty heavily, the event was held at the R&D Mazda Center.

Just a correction, Mazda R&D is a few miles away on Red Hill.

 

I saw the cop walking by a bunch of FD's, so I told my buddy that I was going to start **** with him (that's me with the No Pistons shirt about to fold my arms), so I walked up to him and asked him if he was going to be writing down plate #'s and pulling people over after SS... but he said he was just "studying" the cars, because he's not very familiar with Mazda's...

He said he "would" write this guy out with a mostly-stock FD with intakes, but then I pointed out the CARB sticker, since he didn't even bother looking Then he said that he wouldn't write him up for anything other than the the bov he didn't recirculate back into the intake tract. He also pointed at the UIM and asked if that was the "header" and this was after we discussed the twin turbo system on the car... He didn't even notice that the FD was missing its airpump... finally more people started coming up and other people started asking the cop a bunch of questions.

My buddy also popped the hood on his LS1 FD and told him that it's perfectly legit, he wouldn't write him up for anything other than his intake And he said if we made an intake box to look stock enough, the cop probably wouldn't even notice
