Wow, sorry for not understanding your slang. I had no idea you were refering to going to Hooters. Ive never seen anyone killed for drinking and "****" and as far as i know that's legal. Just letting you know that as a president of a club you have certian obligations to your members (obviously you don't see it that way) and if consuming alcohol is the only way I can participate in your meets then I'm sure I won't e there. If drinking is the only way you can enjoy yourself then too bad for you. It was more of a let you know how your comming off as a President of your car club than a sour note. Have fun and don't kill anyone.

 

you still dont get bro ...there is no drinking going on ...we will be in a parking lot for a couple of hours then we will ride out for alil then to go get something to eat...if consume alcohol is up to you but to say that we will be doing this or that thats your mouth talking like i said...come to the meet and have a good time...we will not be drinking ...it probably would be too late at night anyways because we are startuing at 6:00 but catgostraight you can come trust me dogg we will not be doing what you said all this could of been prevented if i was to say we are going to hooters lol.olool

 

I get it just fine and I didn't imply you were all about drinking.....you did in the post. I just merly suggested against it, if your not more power to you. Right now you guys are a small group, but I'm guessing you would like to increase your membership and how the club is percived (as lame as that is) determines if people want to be a part of it. Perhaps I took it the wrong way and in no way ment to cause you any problems. I've been directlyaffected by drunk driving (in many facets) lost a sister to a drunk driver, and involved in a head on with a drunk driver personally) my saving grace was devine intervention and a 28' motor home (the drunk died). My remark (based on your dialog) was that if your calling it a club function and you provide the alcohol, you take on the liability. If the members or non-members drink on there own your not. We (here in Gainesville) when we have our get togethers prefer Hooters as well, Dave and Busters is another choice establisment of gathering but I personaly prefer the visual entertainment of Hooters over the video games. I hope your meet goes well and thanks for the invite (you never know) I may make it as well. Either way have fun and be safe. It's all fun and games till someone looses an eye.

Hey Kilo, I have spoken to yu on phone before. You know Marc's imports told me your the man on rotary's I have a 86 coupe project. Are you gonna be at meet on 30th . I am on east coast and don't know any other clubs in area. looking for cheaper parts and basic info for minor mods

 

Since we're a club, you think as a club, you could dump my auto tranny and throw in a 5spd, and a new paint job? Ok ok ok, skip the paint job, but atleast a tranny? We should help each other get our cars together. For example, small minor mods or maintenance. But I'm a bit disappointed about the **** joke. I was looking forward to bringing 4 of them.

yeah we help each other fix,buy,and give parts to each other ...and when we go out we stand out because we all rolling on 7's its like a brother hood of rx7s the guys that are in the club are young and willing to learn new things and all they care and talk about are rx7s

el nene I have been rx7 owner since 98. I bought from original owner. so occasionally i would talk to marc/s for parts, who recommended kilo for rebuild/ tuneup stuff. I called and found out where his shop is and look forward to working on this or other projects starting now or 1/06 with kilo or someone else. I met someone else on east side of orlando/bithlo area, i lost that number but could look for shop sometime when i'm over that way. Do you know them. club meet sounds cool manana en la noche, isn't that place a zoo for traffic. I have a bum starter and tps thing going on right now, so i don't know if ill make it there. soon i wil be interested in other meets to test new parts.

 

I love the way that sounds, i feel lonely in altamonte spring cuz i don't see that many 7's. Plus i'll be fun to meet a girl that drives a 7 or 8.

 

Already met one. 3rd gen, forest green, twin turbo. She's pretty cute, too. But you should come. The more the merrier.
