Radio matches the hand controller.

zeroG 04-03-11 02:52 PM

I looks like it in the pic, but it doesn't that much. The radio's green and the commander is yellow. I want to replace the radio anyway to match the red/amber interior

sick eddie, when did you get them?

Gringo Grande 04-03-11 05:20 PM

I, uh, found some...on the side of the road...yea...side of the road...and sold them to him.

Ruler_Mark 04-03-11 05:45 PM

anyway, lucky they are paint matched, how do you like the cut off? I havent ever even turned mine on yet :(

evot23 04-03-11 07:04 PM

got 'em about 3 weeks ago..hence the jokes about stealing yours. got them painted last week. Had to work the wiring and repin a relay. Been doing a couple hours each night when the kiddo goes to bed. this set used relays to power both sides vs running wiring to each side. I'll probably weatherpack the connections now that I know it all works. the fitment is a pain...a real pain...like not even got it really done pain. Yours must be a newer mold/set as mine are nowhere close to drop in fitting.

I think you have to work on getting motor back in and running before worrying about turning them on lol

I turned the lights on to test but not at night....

Went hoodless until I can find a good vented hood locally. (And before someone asks...no, I don't plan on driving it without a hood).

pretty sure I just blew the primaries but sent all 4 to get checked, i figure what the hell got to figure out why they are blowing. 2nd set in less then 3 months and I barely drive it.:scratch::scratch:

i have my theories but not a 100%

Hello everyone, I spent the day stripping all the 1977 sound deadner out of a buddies REPU. Started sanding the interior as well.

I am painting the front bumper valance trim as a test piece for his color tonight. Taking it down to Atlanta tomorrow for the OGTA meet. I am doing a complete color change for him on the truck.

Thanks, Dave

My clutch pedal started getting stuck, looks like a clutch master/slave cylinder replacement is in my future :(

evot23 04-05-11 08:43 PM

wanna know how much an energetic 3 year old in a garage slows you down? I managed to drill and tap 2 holes for my rear wing in 3 hours.

Next two holes tomorrow....

Gregory Casimir 04-05-11 08:49 PM
