Quick question for you Fred. Does it only run while the starter is on and die soon after the starter is released ? ? ? If this seems to be the symptom see if your maitaining the voltage to your ignition when the key is in the on position. If your losing it then look for no ground on the ignition or a blown fuse to the ignitor.broken wire.....something of that nature. Did you drill any new holes in the firewall while you were woring on it ? ? ?

I bet you have the fuel lines hooked up wrong where they come up the firewall.

if that works it was an easy one so I'll settle for $100

just kidding, but have a look!

Fd Not Running

To All

thanks for the response to my post. i should have been more clear on the status of the car. it ran for a few days why were contionuing to attach additional parts. then it stopped and we had it towed to Mazcare who indicated it was a bad wire connection. got it home and we can not get it to run for more than a few minutes or seconds on the Power FC. Mazcare got it to run on ECU (we went back to ECU) and still does not run.

son has been asked to assist several race teams this summer in between scholl so i am loosing my free mechanic.

please keep the post coming or feel to come by the house, we are located in Lawernceville GA.

tx

so if it runs on the stock ecu but not the power fc, then I would go back and SOLDER any wiretapped connections you have made, if any, and double check any connections that the power fc uses that are not used by the stock ecu. Wiretaps suck and I am slowly replacing any that are in place on my car.
