So, i was helping my dad trailer his boat at the end of the season one year, and I had my wallet and cell phone in my cargo pants. Anyway, I was swimming with it for about an hour as we cleaned the boat off some - it survived though, took the sim card out, laid it over a fan and in 2 days it could receive calls again.

Used it for another year and 2 months after that.

wow, that's impressive. i had a crack in the protective screen, not the actual lcd, but water got in there and went to town. maybe it coudl have been usable had that not been there :P

the sim card is still kicking though.

yea those dry bags are awesome.

and the sim should be good. mine went under and the rest of the phone was corroded to hell, but the sim was just fine.
