seriously cars were made to be driven around. in rain... if they werent they would have a big warning lable saying DO NOT DRIVE IN RAIN/ ON WET SURFACES i wash my car 1 time every week.. n i make it go in the rain n what not n i love my car to death but i wont be ashamed to get it a litle dirty

ok so my turbo beast is dead. i flooded the engine last night. the injector seals on the secondaries are toast. now i have to wait untill next friday. im so sick of this ****. theres always a stupid problem. im happy the engine isnt shot though at least....ihope

 

One reason I got rid of my FD. Too many small problems. Good luck on it Jared, BTW who you taking the car to?

myself and john. the thing that blows is that this is pretty much the last thing other then the battery having to be relocated, the boost controller put in, and the car being tuned. i think i am gonna put it for sale after all of this. its been getting too aggrivating to deal with anymore. the problem though is that theres a ton of fd owners getting rid of there cars now so odds are i wont get **** for mine.
id be happy with 19-20k and i know my car is worth it. but for now, it just wont happen.

 

i asked about rain, because if it is almost no FD's will show up...has nothing to do with driving down there in the rain

 

If it turns on and off, its most likely the EGR valve. A faulty one will trigger the CEL to turn on and off. Have phil check the codes, you can do it too. It really easy...

About the rain, I live like 15 minutes away from Towers, and there are only like 2 grey clouds. The rest of the sky is clear, but then again this is Florida weather...

It will explain which terminals to bridge "TEN" and "GND" and it will give you all the codes and what they mean. good luck.

The EGR valve is the most common problem to trigger the CEL to come on IMO.

 

yeah, it only comes on sometimes.

i finally checked the codes last night and i think there's two- 26&36, which according to the link, is the oil pressure pump or something like that. so pretty much i'm out of commission. at least i'll save $$ on gas til i can afford to fix it.
