is there anything to do in tennessee?
i might be moving up there sometime soon - at least just for a little while, i was wondering if there is much to do up there?
how's the rotary scene?
how's the rotary scene?
Depends on what part of TN... East TN has US129 as well as a bunch of other mountain roads. Nashville has a good rotary scene. Memphis has... well, Knoxville and Nashville have stuff to do. We are lacking in decent racetracks though.
well nashville has some but im about the only one that goes anywhere...i never see any on the road and modded always old women and stock 7's or at hole in the wall car lots
yea us mid tn people usually meet up alot and have lunch or something its usually only like four or five of us, but if your asking about other things to do....the only thing to do in Mid tn is drink or talk about rx7's. Oh and play xbox.

yea, Nashville is not really a big car scene. and yea, there are modded 7's rolling around Nashville. Mine's currently down waiting on my 20B to get here, but i know for a fact that there are several others that have had work done.
Besides, i'm a little distracted with my new 8... i love the car.

Car Show
Anyone going to Roses drive in this weekend? Me, Alex, and Jeff will be there in the 7s. Trying to get more to go, especially since this is the first Fri. I've had off in a long time!
Where is Roses, what time, and what's playing? feel free to call me about it if you want. I may or may not be able to go.
Roses car show
Didn't mean an actual drive in movie, a car show. I just thought everyone else called it that. Oh well, if any one is down to go maybe we could meet up, get a bite to eat, and cruise on up there. Well that reminds me now, i think everyone calls it the cruise in.
I'll just bring the 8.
My motor just left Yokohama on the 25th... late, but at least it's on it's way.
EDIT:
I should have read my PM's They informed me where it was...

i try to take my 7 to lp field every saturday not that its together, but i rarely see other 7's around town, and the good dragstrip to go to around nashville is in bowling green KY
Also, I don't really like drag racing. Personal preference. At least it's better than NASCAR.
i'd like to go road course racing but there is not one around here that im aware off, so i do the next best thing
There the Motorplex Street Drags on Fridays. Its a heads-up, no-times eighth mile drag. Nothing serious, but fun. My TII/GSL-SE is highly competive in the import class.
yeah there is real good fishing especially around tim ford river and center hill. Arrrh i caught me a marlin! (austin powers anyone) Oh and david is usually at the drive in answering questions from 16 year old drifters about his "20B" lol.
last i talked to david i'm the only one in nashville with one.. XD (kinda... it's in the process of shipping.) I'm sure you're being sarcastic... gota love the net for not making sarcasm easy to follow.
there's actually a track in GA that i found out about not so long ago... i think it's a 2.5 mile run, but it's mostly a high speed kinda course. no tight twisties.
20b??? lmao!
