Just wondering if any of you are planning to make it to Summerpalooza over at UCF next saturday. I don't know too many 7 guys who are showing up (butt-load of other Mazdas tho...), but there should be a few of us. (hopefully my ride will be running by then!)

Anyway, just wanted to let ya guys know so maybe we can get more than a few 7s there...

my friend with the winterpalooza show winner turbo rotary miata and I are heading out from east coast [brevard] if you want to meet up and caravan over. i will be in FD. anyone else who wants to caravan over, start posting on this thread time and place to meet and ride out.

 

Mazda National day is a bigger event with a lot more rotary presence. From old school to new. For what I've heard in the past this is more of a Protégé event.

 

You are right: there are more piston-mazdas than rotaries at summerpalooza. but that is simply because not enough of us are showing up!

We are certainly invited, and in fact, one of the organizers (mike) asked me personally to try and get as many rotaries out there as possible.

I know there seems to be a bit of a divide between the 7s and other Mazdas (as with any other piston engine I suppose,) but to me that shouldn't get in the way of us going out there and having a good time! (and as I said, the piston guys would love it if more rotaries showed up...)

Rob: This is jeremy, I talked to u last night about looking for a new engine. Let me know if you hear anything... well, see you on saturday. (I look forward to seeing ur FD too!)

 

I'm just going to wait until it comes out on DVD. lol All jokes aside I would like to see some pics and see how many 7's attended.
