Still looking for old school rotary

i'm having no luck locating a replacement for my wrecked 808. any help would be greatly appreciated. what i'm looking for:

mazda 808 thru '75, any year rx3, or maybe even an rx4 thru '75. these do not need to be running cars as my engine and all will be transfered to another.

i posted an ad on the parts trader but all that's available would cost around $1000 to get it here, not to mention the average $2k ppl r asking for them. i check this site frequently so shoot me a pm or email. thanx in advanced

These cars are getting so old now.....30 years....and they're not very collectible, that you may have a tough time finding them. You may have to search outside your area. I'm sure there are still some running around Calif. Have you tried any of the various Craig's Lists? www.craigslist.com Start with one close to home and work your way out to the ones progressively more distant. It's one of the best online sources I know of for used car ads.

uhh, i know how old these cars are. they just happen to be my choice of rotary vehicle. i don't know about collectability but i do know they're valueable. the ppl that have emailed me with what they have for sale, they're average asking price is $2k, and that's not running. and they're in places like nj, tx, or, ca, wa. then costing about $1k for transport to me. finding them isn't the problem, it's that they want more for them than i can afford. the parts trader only covers so many ppl. i just thought i'd post here hoping someone might know of one. and the only rx i find on that site is 7's.
