Question "stick" tuning and repairs in Orlando

In Orlando, who can you recommend for normal "stock" work such as oil leaks, tune-ups, hoses etc.? We want to keep our FD stock except for reliability mods.
Also, we need some a/c work, anyone had a positive experience here?

Thanks for your help,

Phil Pritchard

kilo racing also works on stock stuff i believe, he is a rotary expert, internationally reknown. info should be in florida shop sticky at top of page for kilo.

there is a group Rotor7ven, who do good work, you can pm El Nene, fc3sfreek,
there are a few local tuners i have met, i can look up there #'s if you want.

fuego racing, i hear good things also. they built my TII before i bought it, and it was a great car.

rogue racing, has a dynoshop, and they might be able to refer you to someone.

+100000000000, i really dont like fuego as a person he thinks all the things he's got is nothing but the best and swears by it, and when you try and get his opinion on something some other tuner says he try's 2 steer you away from that other tuner and go with him

arnt ya a 1st gen guy fox? Fuego don't touch starlets,datsuns,rx2-4 and 1st gens
only 2nd and 3rd gen and RX8 mazdas

Can't defend Fuego's time it takes to get things finished
I know 1st hand myself, but he is very honest and will never make up **** just to make more money from customers....He can not be touched BY ANYONE in central florida when it comes to parts for 2nd and 3rd gens....

I don't want to start a pissing match
there are plenty of other shops

Danito Auto repair
Curian racing
Papo turbo
2Fast autosports (rotary/dynojet)
FairBanks Mazda in longwood

theres also a guy from longwood that works out of his house
that does good work on 2nd and 3rd gens
forget his name tho

yea im a 1st gen guy, but that doesnt have nething to do with what i've said, 2nd he has worked on a couple of starlets 'supposidly' he's worked on ortegas starlet (drag yellow starion powered starlet) and he used 2 have a starlet that he used to race back in the day, and as for the guy in longwood i dont think he does that any more since last i contacted him he said he was goin thru a divorce so he doesnt do that anymore

Your boy dropped of the car since he was moving
Left no money to have the engine rebuilt (your friend said engine was bad)
2 years and he still has no money to work on his car

Fuego should charge your broke *** friend for 2 years of storage!
I always been telling fuego to stop being so nice to people with no money
who can not come up with the money to have there cars worked on immediately
but since Fuego has 5x the space ANY rotary shop..people take advantage of him and drop of the cars for months without supplying parts of money.

so who is the mechanic ???? if some one walks into my shop and tell me they have a blown engine the first thing you do diagnose the car to verify that that is the case, because if my coustumer was a mechanic the car would not be in my shop. after any work is performed they have 3 days to pick up before storage fees start building , if no work is done they still have 3 days to pick it up after 30 day comes the lien on it and its all on the ivoice they signed now wether the guy is broke or not **** it dont surprise me i would have done a lien on it allready just like i told JOSE my ? is why would anybody have to give anymoney down on any shop if no repairs have been done

you don't get the point do you?
your broke friend has never had any interest from the get go to fix his car.
He used Jose for storage, since he moved and had no where to park his car
most storage units are 10x20= $150 a month x 24 months $3600 Jose could charge him. Don't come on hear and try to make Jose out to be a bad guy
trying to imply its been 2 years and Jose has not finished "working" on his car...

I can't defend him taking a bit to get things done
but his prices are very good and he does not make up stuff that is wrong with a car just to make a buck....
He goes out of his way to work with someone who is on a budget
and is willing not to charge people for storage or put leans on there cars
when they take a bit on paying him.....

Those days are going to end...

There are two 3rd Gen owners up here in Jacksonville who took their cars to Fuego. Both cars were messed up pretty badly. He did a nice engine rebuild on one but then totally screwed up the stock sequential turbo controls. Replaced good parts with broken. Took the guy months to get the car sorted out. I saw the car and I know the guy and his advise is avoid Fuego, at least for a 3rd Gen.

The 2nd car was just a botched tune and the car was at the shop for a long time.

Neither of these guys have financial issues and were generally treated badly. Fuego moved his shop (and the 2nd guys car) and did not tell the guy. He had to play private detective to track down the new location to get his car back.

Just my 2 cents.

Talking Thanks!

Appreciate the input.

I visited Ortiz, Central Florida Turbo and Kilo.

Kilo is the one I've chosen to check it out.

Thanks again.

mira pela gato, that car is mine, and no i didnt leave it there cause i was moving, I went there to trade my OZ rims for stock ones cause my tires were bald the oz cost 750 each rim, anyways i had to go michigan and on my way from fuegos shop my car broke down, i had it in florida for 2 years but not at fuegos i send it there at the begining of the year, I want it a jap engine and fuego didnt have one at the time, so the car was there for the time, i have trusted in him I think he is awesome and I am not broke, i just bought a house and have other priorities, I talk to fuego and he understand we already have an agreement ,I'm reenlisting in the guard and i'. getting 10,000 bonus and is all going to the car ,thats why is there, so dont stop talikng about me if you dont know ****
