Steve kan tuning in spartanburg south carolina!!!!
alright boys its time for another round of that wonderful tuning. i was thinking of having him sometime in late march early april so it will be before DGRR. for tuning price structure, please visit his website www.stevekantuning.com yes i know the dates are not accurate, so please pay no attention to those. steve said they are having some trouble with the website.
once we have 5 people who have sent deposits, that will lock him in as far as coming. also the first person to send their deposit gets first dibs on what day(sat or sun) and time of day. then after that its fairly self explanitory. you can pay the remainder of the ballence at the tuning session or pay it early, whatever floats your boat. a non refundable deposit of $206 is required to lock your spot in, and should be sent to streetrx7@yahoo.com (paypal). please tell me when you have sent a deposit and also put in the description what it is for.
i think that covers everything so lets decide on a date. how bout april 5-6?
also if you have any questions please feel free to post and either steve or I will answer them.
and we can get a list started. just put you car and a little about it.

went to the dyno today and talked it over with them. we are going to do things a little differently than we did last time. it will be $100 as soon as you roll onto the dyno whether you are on there for1 minute or 60 its still $100. and after that it is $50 per 30 minutes instead of $100 an hour like every other place. so if you are only on there for one hour and twenty five minutes, you only get charged $150 instead of $200. if anything is unclear on this let me know and i will try to help.
also, we are going to limit it to 4 cars per day, which means 8 cars total. last time we had too many cars with too many problems and wasted alot of time. once the 8 slots are filled, i will start a waiting list and you can come to the session and hope someone breaks. lol. if you car breaks on the dyno, thats fine, fix it, but you be getting charged dyno time while it sits. if it is too long you will have to take it off and let someone else go. the main thing is, make sure EVERYTHING is right before getting there so all steve has to do is tune it and not sit there and diagnose your problems. look on his websight to see everything that is highly reccomended to do before rolling on the dyno.

Very interested, but I cannot commit for the time being unless I can get on the list without an immediate deposit. I will keep an eye on this thread, and will likely take part if this becomes a reality.

it will deffinately happen. as far as getting your name on the list, go ahead and add it if you are pretty serious about it. there is no need to start collecting deposits this early in the game. just trying to get a list going of who is gonna want in.

PS-How was the meet in Williston? I was going to try and make it but the Friday before it I was driving down the highway about 60 mph when all 4 lugs on the driver's side rear somehow worked themselves out and dropped the whole drum assembly inside the rim. I still can't believe the wheel stayed under me, thank goodness it was not on the front or I might not be here.

yes most of the wasted time was me, but really the only cars that got on, got tuned and got off without time consuming problems were my FD, single fd from GA, and charles' FD.
