OH HOLY CRAP!!!!!! dustin. . . i hate you. im in more of a place to sell my car than you are!!! are you sure you wanna do this? i mean, the mazda 6 is a nice car, but man. . . youll hate it for a long time. also, youll be in its debt for about 5 years. why not just keep the sentra. . . save up. . . and buy something when youre ready, instead of selling all of it!!!!
if you did sell the sentra. . . man, id love to buy it, but we all know what kind of problems i have. hahahaha. BUY MY GTI!!! ill make a deal on it.
man, a sad day indeed!!!

dustin, are you serious? whats the engine doing? man, i wish i could lend a hand, but man. . . you know the deal. . . i cant even get MY car running right.
why dont you run out to davids house one night and get him to check the compression with a piston engine tester. check it that way before you get caught up in the i hate rotaries deal. . . . which is understandable. hahaha.
on a side note, i completely understand. dont take this the wrong way. . . youre car has a long way to go before its up to YOUR standards. i know you want a nice car and thats PERFECTLY understandable. if thats your goal, then by all means do it. . . cause itll take a lot of time and money to get to that point. starting out with an already nice car is definately remarkably better. you dont have to spend all that extra money to get to the point you want. sell the car, but keep the sentra. theres nothing wrong with it as far as being a daily driver. . . thats what you got it for right??? save up the money and look. . . look, and look, and look. youll find one you want and be able to dump the money on it when the time comes. youll be able to start out with a nice car. . . THEN mod it or just drive it. itll still be plenty fast. the only problem is that you already have a somewhat fast car. im sure you like that aspect of it. maybe instead of dealing with the sale and depression. . . just park it. save up for a stand alone EMS and go that route. i think youll be infinitely happier. trust me. . . its better. i know you hate dealing with that, but when you have a DD you can simply DO that. . . and get away with it. wait around for a good tuner to come around and pay to get it squared away. its pretty simple on paper. i know it gets to be a heartache because of the wait and such, but thats the nature of the beast. the ecu you have and the safc you have are simply bandaids that make it hard to tune. if you run with something YOU KNOW WILL WORK, youll be better off. get a haltech or microtech or whatever and stick with it. youll never have to get another EMS again. . . not like getting your ecu re-chipped. bad road. . . bad road indeed.
hope that helps a little. . .

If Dustin doesn't want it, PM me. Little Paul is about to get a 87 with a popped motor and this may be a good thing for him.

dustin, unless youve been beating the tar out of the car. . . i doubt its the engine. its probably more than likely something to do with electronics. . . bad ecu, safc messy, bad(ish) coils, blah, blah, blah. . . its all gonna give you bad engine symptoms.
youre making more money now, this allows you to do some of the things you want. try what im talking about. . . i promise youll be happier. get a good EMS, aftermarket FPR, and run through the entire compartment. replace what needs to be replaced, repair what needs to be repaired. this is something i learned early on. when making fixes. . . you have to make sure EVERYTHING else works. . . itll only frustrate you if you dont. thats why most everything on my car is replaced with something aftermarket. i trust what i buy because its new. . . and setup correctly. . . because IIIIIIIIIII set it up. i was just where you are with the learning curve. its all on here (and you know it). . . just take the time to DO IT RIGHT. . . you wont be sorry.
i say these things because i know it to be true (hehe, sounds like some kind of a testimony). . . go through EVERYTHING. . . get it all correct, THEN say yes or no.
youre gonna spend some money, and you always bust my ***** about telling you to do "this or that. . . or this AND that", but i say that BECAUSE its about the only way to get into it and get it done RIGHT the FIRST time. replacing things over a length of time is for a stock ride. . . your car is NOT a stock ride. it relies on properly working parts and a well played scheme. if youre replacing one thing at a time and only looking at that one thing at that time. . . the problem will outlast your patience. . . as it seems to have done.
note: im not talking about going all out here. . . just getting a good start on it. . . you dont NEED a new turbo or injectors or whatever. . . you (IMHO) need to be able to do what YOU want to do with the ecu (because your car is no longer stock) and an FPR and maybe some coils (yours are old). your car is no beast. . . and that stuff isnt gonna MAKE it a beast. . . just more reliable!!! trust me

oh, oops. . . sorry about that. . . www.atpturbo.com
dustin, if you get the aeromotive FPR, you can ditch the FPD as well. . . so make sure you use a primary rail that has a removable FPD.
