Cool So I went to florida..

So from Monday till today I ventured down to Orlando, Florida....well it is a lot different from what I'm used to. 1. I saw only ONE Rx7 there and it was a grey FB like mine. I saw 4 other Rx8's. 2. People have no courtesy when driving (still going on red lights, will ride your @ss just to stop at the next light. 3. it takes at least 20 mins to get anywhere. 4. people are less friendly 5. there is a 40/60 spanish speaking community 6. gas is expensive

I did enroll at MMI (marine) today and will be there in July. I just got a taste of it for a few days to figure out if its worth it or not.

for your #1 tho... i think you'll start to notice alot more 7's than you expect when you are down there for a longer period.

You are in the wrong place in Florida..you need to be in Miami where you will see some 60+ RX7's like the ones that showed up to last sundays meet.

What part of Orlando were you? There are big differences between different parts of town. Believe me, that's not how it all is.

It sounds like he/she was by I-Drive. If so, your points are so true. But out east or west there are tons of 7's and 8's.

There is a good rotary community in Central FL.You will get used to the traffic and like the string bikinis! It could be a lot worse like S. Cal. Although the last 5 years has been increasingly worse. Looking forward to meeting when you get established. What's up w/ marine mech. school? You fix em and I'll drive em ( The internal stuff anyway). Garret

thanks everyone. 1. yes i am a guy. 2. And I went all the way from north of Kimmessee to just about downtown to Iternational drive to the airport. With all the traffic it might be easier to buy a kawasaki or some kind of bike. I removed my A/C on my car and it would be cheaper on gas and easier on gas.

On a different note I hear..was it coco beach to the east is a hot spot for girls and just to hang out? the only place i saw any attractive girls were at the mall..go figure

Fla. necessities.....big#1 :A.C. 2: patience ,or a bat when driving 3: and yes, there are probably more latinos in Fla. than in Washington( learn the bad words first , the rest'll come later.) We have a lot of rotaries here in XCntl. Fla. esp. on the east side. the rotary community here isnt as tight knit as some would like but its here. Though I can say that every time I see a rotary and Im in mine we know what time it is. wELCOME and if you ever want to cruise, go to the bar, or beat on Hondas dont hesitate to pm or whatever. **** Ill even teach you how to pick up spanish chix !!!LOL...j/k! (its sacred)- Erik
