alright guys, im beginning work on the 2nd annual gar-b-q. this year we hope to setup a simple meet at one of the local parks. same format as last year. . . just come and hang out. . . oh, and eat. . . and maybe drink. as far as food goes. . . bring what you want, if you want. no special requests. . . like steak or anything. mostly, therell be burgers and dogs. if you want to help out with this sort of thing, then by all means. . . DO. drinks and chips and extra meat are always welcome. . . as im sure this stuff will be eaten up. . . like last year. think of it as a "ROTARY POT-LUCK". . . hehe.

anyways, im in the process of working with the city of smyrna for parks arrangement. i think we can all agree that due to last years response. . . parking will surely be an issue. so, moving it to a big parking lot will definately work FOR us.

the dates im looking at are 2006JUL01 or 2006 JUL08. those are both on saturdays. i realize they kinda revolve around the 4th, but also figured one of those two dates would work.

anyways, this is in its beginning stages at the moment.

hey tim, i may be getting a job in tullahoma. . . hows the cost of living out there? i pay 693/month for a 2 bed/2 bath apartment here in smyrna. id much rather buy a house, but i need to look into the market first. . . i guess.

 

I used to pay that in Smyrna right across the street from Smyrna Video... Kings Crest or something close to that name. I'll PM you some info on living expenses and such.

It's over 2 months away, so I'm sure most people will wait till closer to the actual date to commit (including myself) .
