ok, so i wanted to purpose another route for the drive for this meet...to meet with the 3 hour time frame...i'm suggesting we jump back on i26W towards NC...get off at exit 49A (Hendersonville, Hwy 64)...take hwy 64 over to 74-A/Lake Lure. then we take Old Hwy 9 to I-40/Black Mountain. Then we jump on I40W back towards Asheville, getting off at exit 53 (74-A) and taking 74-A back to Lake Lure (to make a circle!) and get back on 64 back to I26...and back to SC...
why this route? 1: 3 new roads we've not driven on a meet before. 2: the #9, I40, 74-A loop takes right about an hour (timed it last night). 3: there are a few more places to stop and stretch our legs about every 20-30 min (though not always scenic over looks).
why not this route? 1: not all the roads are twisty mountain roads: ie interstate...roughtly 40 min at start(i26), 20 min in middle (i40), and 40 min at end (i26). 2: more of a chance to get stuck behind a slow driver on the roads.
so, that is my suggestion, i will time the other route tomorrow, but i have a feeling it will end up being more of a 4-5 hour round trip from big daddy's. another idea might just be run up ceasar's head then 276 to the parkway, chill up at the overlook on the parkway for a few then come back down the way we came...
please let me know your thoughts on this...the 3 roads are great roads and very enjoyable..though not a constant 3 hours on them.
and for other business...
minda and lisa...hate to hear you lost the baby...guess you have to go back to trying again!
masin...nice turbo...

anyway, as for the meet/drive...sounds like we're gonna stick to the good ol' 276..and any objections to being out more than 3 hours?

I dont have any objections on that one. I will try to clean up the SA by the meet but no promises it all depends how hard they work me at work couse some days I just get home and dont feel like doing anything well thats actually moste of the days but I will see if the grass dryes out so I can get to my garage to unload all the stuff out of it and get my cluch back up to working order I will bring it.

Well I'm not going skiing obviously (weather is being uncooperative) but I haven't had a chance to work on Zeta much either. I'm now waiting on a block off plate to be fabricated for the double throttle removal mod that I forgot to give the guys in the back . Once that's done I plan on putting her all back together.
