Nieto, good job on the wire! What was the problem? BTW, your message just came to my phone last night. ?? I"m not sure what's going on with it. Joy tried calling my phone on her way home and mine never even rang, so it's something I've got to figure out.

How is it acting when you try to start it?

Meet times/places etc...

So the last thing we'll do is check out the ricer's behind sonic in harbison, around/between 9:30-11:00pm.

Befor that we'll eat someplace, (we should decide where, so if there are any late-arrivals they'll know where to go.) at around/between 7:30-9:30pm.

And befor that we'll be at Frankies around/between 6:00-7:30pm. We could start the meet at frankies at 6pm or meet someplace else befor 6pm then go to frankies

What does anybody/everybody think?

later

I say we meet someplace else, and then we all drive to Frankies. Hey should we send a open invite to the RX8 guys. Just tryin to be friendly. I was just reading on the RX8 forum that my friend here on base blew a seal recently. I'm going to call him up and see how things are going. He has the Greddy turbo upgrade on his 8, and I hope that's not the culprit, however I think it is. So, should we start a thread in the RX8 forum? I will bring my DVD camcorder to this one, so I can get some good footage.

REESE - Andy has been helping me out a bunch, lot of this stuff he knows from his mad skills as an electrician, so today he came over on his way home and well my trigger counter was just acting funny, I'm guessing there's a way to filter out noise so that sensors are picking whatever it is up more clearly, it counters look like they're dead on. We just need to adjust the timing and it's slowly coming together. He told me he'd stop by everyday this week to help me get it running, I hope we get it. BTW he got the GXLT to Landons today, so he might be down for tunning, you'd have to talk to him. little frustatrated and cold and dirty and tired and I got to go to work tonight at 11.

Later Days
Nieto

P.S. Rx-8s and Rx-7s are goooooooooooooooooood hopefully we will join forces and destroy the evil ricers of the road because we have "ROTARY POWER!!!!!!!!!!!"

what time is? "ROTOR TIME"

DID YOU GET THAT?????? that ones for you Jamin

ok I'm leaving now

Damn, I just spoke to Heath (the guy that has my old 1/2BP 13B-RE w/ GT40. ). He's getting BDC to tune his setup this week as well!

Damn, this is going to rock! 3 FCs together that are each making at or above 400WHP! Time for some video...

Nieto, cool that he's helping you out. Umm...exactly HOW are you filtering out noise? The E8s aren't really known for having that problem so I'm having trouble figuring out what you're dealing with. Have you tried adjusting the signal strength?

Are you bring the 240 to the meet? I would love to see that set-up.

Nieto there is a thread in either the Haltech or Rotary Performance section that relates to noise filtering. A couple people were having the same problems and made a filter for the CAS coupling from a couple parts at Radio Shack. If I get a few minutes I'll try and find it for you. Reese let me know if you want to borrow my camera, unless you already got one, or I may be down to video as well, depends on what is going on. Call me.

Will do, Steiner. And FWIW, I picked up the $600 3CCD camera. So far I like it.

ATTENTION!!! IS THERE ANY INTEREST IN THIS?????

This was just found out so I apologize for the lateness. It's a bit of a trip for some of us, but worth it, IMO.

Dates: Saturday March 4th, 2006

Place: Turner Field, Blue Lot
755 Hank Aaron Dr SW
Atlanta, GA 30315

Time: Gates open 7:00AM
Registration/Tech: 7:00AM - 8:30AM
Driver's Meeting: 8:45AM
Drifting: 9:00AM - ????

Drivers: $90 Pre-Reg
$120 Late Reg
$145 Gate Reg

Spectators: $5
Pre-Register 03/04/06
Turner Private Day 04/08/06
Pre-Register 09/02/06 Closes 08/02

Hotel: Comfort Inn Downtown South
795 Pollard Boulevard
Atlanta, GA 30315
(404) 658-1610

I'm down for it, especially considering the price. I've done some calling around, trying to get us a place to practice drifting without getting arrested/ticketed. The track in Kershaw won't be available until June and it'll cost $4000 for one day not including event insurance. By comparison, this is a steal!

Food for thought...

Reese

go look at dgtrials.com. I believe that it's the same event. One of the sites must have an error. I just checked and it IS the SFS5 according to dgtrials. Wait...the SEDA forum shows the 4th as well.

You up for it?

man my TII just died like a mile from my house. Pulling away from a stop it stalled out and wouldnt start back up. It was too dark to try to troubleshoot, i guess ill take a look at it tomorrow when i get a chance. Hopefully its just flooded.

My poor baby, i hope she's ok!

and i finally got the banjo bolt i ordered for the 88 SE's fuel rail and i managed to break it in half tightening it down

...today was not a good day
