errrrrrrrr, call it constructive criticism then. I just believe threaded holes that provide structural rigidity and support should probably be filled. Most likely with a nut or bolt designed to support said force. But hey I'm preaching to the choir on that one.

Issues.

Well, for the past 3-4 days, Ive been smelling fuel when I start the 7 up in the morning. When its warmed up I dont smell fuel. Its only in the morning.

This morning I finally checked it out, and I can see and smell where the fuel leak is,
I think it leaks when the fuel hose is cold, it dosent leak when its warmed up.

The thing is when I fixed my other fuel-leak I decided to tighten some other fuel-hose-clamps, so that might be the prob. tightened a clamp one to many turns.

This is the short fuel-hose right/directly under the intake manifold.

And... My alternator is going bad, it makes a squealing/short-grinding noise on start-up. And if I have any accessories (head-lights) on, it screws-up my idle and sometimes the alt. squeals.

My brother is bringing me an alternator. And im thinking im just gona run on the leaking fuel hose. Unless everybody convinces me other-wize.

Later.

leaking fuel on a hot engine- i know its spark that causes fuel to burn, but why chance it to prove me wrong?

Can't you just go to a local auto parts store and get the length of hose you need?

Preston - will record the FB turbo for ya, and if possible some other things as well.

Rotarycrazy - location????? I'm a sucker for free food

Toby - you may need a new battery also if the idle is being affected when you turn on your lights, running the just the alterator will stress it out. comeon now

snapcaseacilec - its at his house. We are going back there after the ride through the mountains. It's real close the big daddy's. Oh, and it's probably not gonna be free. He'll probably just ask for a few bucks donation to help out a little. Sorry, I didn't mean to burst your bubble, but It won't be too much.

Don't worry We'll caravan together into the mountains, and then come home with them. You won't get lost, we'll be together.

I finally just got home, we left columbia around 1230 got into charleston around 1:50, I almost lost it by doing an accidental drift to the right coming off the interstate headin to the Auto X that was being held in Summer ville, there was a Spitfire 1500 with a Carburated 12A running, nothing real interesting than that. Left there went to Jamin's house and chilled and worked on the cars for a lit bit also. Then I myself left there and went to Justin's house to pick up a part from him and told him of all the fun he missed out on. Finally headed home. and now I'm chillin watchin the SUPER BOWL and the Seahawks just scored a field goal.

Preston - No turbo FB

Later Days
Nieto

PS IF you found some money, it was me.
