well here we r, the week of. i still plan to make it provided nothing happens between now and sat. it was mentioned a few pages ago about the rx7club being one of the clubs there. will that be a plan or will this just be a gathering of rx7 owners?

well if we are gonna go to the show, then we need to meet and get up there fairly early. thats why a few pages back i had offered anyone coming from charleston to come up friday and stay at our house. so since chip isnt coming and jamin and toby are staying in cola, that leaves derek. or are you gonna stay in cola as well? oh and what about jon? u actually gonna drive your car to a meet for once? sorry if i missed any charleston people..

whether we go to the show or not, i dont car cause i can always go on sunday. but we need to speak up and decide, because as posted above, it is this weekend!!! so i guess we should make a vote.

Yeah just havn't decided if I really want to go get it or not. I have the check in hand just can't make up my mind... They are such sweet cars; this one has all of the N/A Mods and a complete suspension from Dinan. Shocks are bound and rebound adjustable just in case I drive up in the mountains sometime.




I was JUST wondering Since I will be out of town part of the month. Other than that sounds good!! Next time bring more food I bought a lot and still ran out!! 7lbs of burgers and 5 cases of beer was almost enough... Such a dilemma huh

im up for the show and the drive, but i definitely have to do the drive either way.. i dont think ive driven a mnt road since deals gap!

 

Heres my problem, because of the fact that ALL I drive is mountain roads, the Toyos on the back of my car are very slick. I will absolutley be down for the drive, I really dont see having new tires by this weekend. Therfore a trip to SC is out 4 me. My friends are down but I really dont want a roadside flat and have to drive back to NC on a donut. Believe me it was bad enough driving all the wat to Deals Gap up and down the Dragon that friday with no power steering. Anyways the reason I havent already purchased tires is because my employer went to SD for 2 weeks and even though I enjoyed not doing **** I also had to pay bills etc w/ the money I put back and almost wish now that I would have put something on the back burner and just bought tires. Found some Kumho Ecsta ASTs on Discount tire for $70.00 a piece and thats what im gonna get. Anyways we can party at my house if yall want, plenty of floor space just ask Tray.

 

I made a new camera mount for my fc, its a little low and in the back, but it wont go falling back while taking turns like last time. Cost me 25 bucks.

 

you should have some really good footage of the Caravan and trip through the Dragon somewhere huh?

is it big daddy's off of exit 15 around noon for food? then drive? or a few going to try to make it to the show earlier? (any cost for admission to show?)

 

how bout if you wanna go to the show meet at the expo center around 10 and if you dont just meet at big daddys at 12. yes there is addmission to the show. if you dont know how to get to big daddys its exit 15 on i-26 towards inman and then go about 1.5-2 miles and it is right after the first light on your right.

the expo center is exit 17? am i correct? you can see it from the highway.

im going to try to bring the red car.. i just finished replacing the oil cooler lines, and im goinng to try to swap the tranny out with Jon's spare tomorrow so i can have a working 5th gear

So we meet at "big daddy's" at noon.

The cola and charley crew will meet at the gas station off exit 97 at 10am-10:30, we will leave at 10:30am.

Ill be amazed if anyone from Columbia/Charleston besides me an my bro show up there.


My brother is now thinking of swapping the turbo from his red 7 to the white 7, instead of the tranny swap. Sounds like hes having issues, from having 2 7s down for repairs for a while.
