I had fun guys. Although I wish I could have stayed longer. It was best we left when we did. We ran into some really bad weather on the way home, I fell asleep @ the wheel 2 times and Steve understeered through fog and hard rain into a guardrail. lol. no damage tho. To make him feel better I drew some donuts. haha.
Glad to hear everyone made it back safely, I wish I had made it up there earlier but still enjoyed it! PICs look good, the last one is on my desktop now lol. Hope you guys can make it up here more often, maybe get a few of my other NC RX-7 friends to run with us one weekend.

Tray, as soon as you get that FD call me, I wanna c it

gianny, i have to wonder about you sometimes...

but it looks like the weekend of the 11 and the carshow. if we get there early then we will still have time for a mountain run. how does that sound? you chucktowners can come friday night if you would like and stay here for free!! i guess it would be a first come first serve kinda thing, since we do have alot of space, but not unlimited. lmk

we do what we can to go off topic!!!

chip, which part of reality? drive the car for a day or 2, then work on it for 6 months? i do that already with the red one!!! hahaha... will we be seeing you this meet?

ok, and for those of you who don't know yet, Lisa's black R1 FD will be mine after this week. Lisa and Minda are selling it so they can finalize the loan to get their house repaired. They bought the house knowing of the work that would need to be done, and they were hopeful that it wouldn't come to this.

But it has, and though I hate to think I'm relieving a friend (and rx lover) of their FD, I prefer to think of it as being able to help friends and I know the car will be taken car of. The car will stay in the area and will keep the rotary engine. Also, Lisa and Minda will have priority on buying it if for some silly reason I decide to sell it. Or if they decide they want to buy it back from me, I will work with them so they can.

don't question the off topic potential. because believe me... there is more where that came from. lol.

Hey Lisa,... let him fix all the quirks of the car and then offer to buy it back!!! By then I'm sure it'll have more miles so the value will be slightly lower, and probably come out to about the same amount that you sold it to him for... muahahahahaha

SAID THE MAN WHO gave up on his rotary : BTW it's 5 years

Tray I hope so I have been trying to get a hold of some Leading and Trailing coils to see if my problem is with the LS1 coils. I should have stuck with ALL Rotary components instead of these ****** V8 coils!!!!

I think we decided on the upstate TrAy! That'll make it easier for you red-headed stepchild brethren from NC to make it, too. I look forward to seeing you guys there! Hopefully I'll have some time before then to get some work done on my car. It looks like my wideband O2 sensor has crapped out on me within a month of install and less than 100 miles driven on it. Thank goodness for warranties! The RX8 seats are still yet to be installed, as well as the LSD rear and slottted rotors all around.

Can anyone hook me up with a resource for the RX8 power seat wiring diagram? On the one I have (148 page PDF linked from RX8 club), the color codes don't match up with the harness on the seat!??

the heavy one is the trailing.. i have a leading, b/w the two of us he should have a full set.. but mine is n/a, not sure if the turbo and n/a were the same. I should have spare connectors for them too, if you need them chip
