WOW butter that looks alot like my old 7...without the single turbo mod. The guy that bought it even lives in Texas. I don't know if I will be in my new toy or Erins WRX but I do plan on following Reese down this comming weekend.

maybe it was

Who knows maybe. The guy I bought it from lived in Houston (name:Tamir) Forum name:GOHORNS. I took a flight down to Houston to check it out, and ended up picking it up. I have been looking for another FD for about 18 months, and when I finally saw this one I knew it was mine. Drove back to South Carolina, and I have owned it for about 6 months. The only Mod I have done so far is change all six bushings in the back. It had a very slight clunk, and that was unacceptable. After doing the bushing replacment, no more clunk, and the rear end feels even more solid. The bushing replacment was pretty easy as well. You just need some air tools.

I'm actually the organizer of the Sandblast Rally. If you have any questions, let me know. Hope to see some RX7 power down there!

that is BS. i remember when i took my drivers test, i pulled out of teh dmv in the left lane! I also forgot to put it in "Park" when they said to park on a hill, and they still passed me, lol... I guess i got lucky.

Anyway, i finally got the 88 SE running last weekend, it was having starting problems. Turned out to be a combination of loose starter wiring, a faultly clutch switch, and a broken coolant temp switch. I think i broke the temp sensor in the thermostat housing when i was putting new belts on it when i first bought it 6 months ago, it must have been running in 'safe' mode ever since. Now it doesnt take 5+ seconds of cranking for it to start...runs a lot better too.

Talking about drivers tests: I failed my 1st because "I wasent holding the steering wheel tight enough."
Anyway... When/where's the columbia crew meeting? I might go down befor if my brother gets back from his short-notice business trip though.

Should have said somthing instead me typing stuff up, and me looking like some punk kid.

Besides I know you might be busy with other peoples problems along with running performance concepts, i don't want to have to come to you for all my questions, you know.

lets start finalizing the meet time etc...

How dose this sound: Everybody meets at the K-mart on rivers in Charleston at 5pm.
So the Columbia crew meets at 3pm or a little befor, at Sonic in harbison, then we caravan down to Charleston.

I might go down befor, but if not ill go with the Columbia crew. If I dont show up at Sonic, Ive already gone down to Charleston.

Later.

Nieto, I didn't mean to come across as rude. I don't mind helping you out! I just didn't want you to think I was ignoring or had missed the call.

Reese

Anyone riding out with the Columbia crew needs to be AT Sonic and READY TO GO at 2:45 tomorrow. The group will leave AT 3pm with or without you. If you want to eat beforehand, show up early.

That said, I'll see you guys tomorrow! For anyone that doesn't have it, my number is 803-767-2538.

Reese
